  • Great App, however…

Could you add a “Clear data cache” function of sorts to the app? It’d be simpler than having to delete and reinstall to get back 1-2GB of storage space.
  • Fun app

Why add extra taps? I don't want extra taps to upload stuff when I could upload stuff before with less taps. Adding unnecessary steps
  • Can’t upload to photos easily

    It’s good.
  • Exporting files is extremely difficult

It is not possible to download and send copies of multiple files at once. Sending copies of multiple files requires using a Google link. Accessing said files via the link requires logging in to Google Drive. It is not possible to download a .zip folder from the mobile app.
  • Folder Disappeared, no help

Just like that, a folder with all kinds of photos of my pets and my mom’s pets disappeared. I spent over an hour on a chat with someone at Google who was trying to help with recovering it. She tried a File Recovery Tool but couldn’t find it. I could still see the folder under the parent folder’s “Activity” but, when I clicked on it, a message would appear saying there was no such folder or it’s permissions had been changed (no, no changes to permissions). Strangely enough, when clicking some of the images I had uploaded to it (which I could also see under the parent folder’s “Activity”), I could actually see them! Which I think means the folder is still there. Not all images would show, however. Obviously, something caused the folder to disappear. But no answers were forthcoming. She kept asking me to look in the trash and saying that if it had been more than 25 days since deleting it, it was likely gone for good. It took a while for her to finally accept that I had neither trashed it, nor altered its permissions. It literally disappeared as i was trying to upload 3 images from my phone. What I still find unbelievable is that there’s no option to do a “system restore” like Windows offers, or really any way to go back to an earlier point before the folder disappeared in order to recover it. This was an important folder for me, full of cherished photos of pets. That’s bad enough. But what if that folder had contained a year’s worth of data and was expected to be shown during next week’s annual presentation? I want my folder back with all my pet photos! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
