My Alta Fitbit stops working although the battery level is charged. When this happens, I need to sync my device.
  • Can’t set time to get steps

I had followed the instructions to reset the active hours for steps, and it continued to keep the 9 to 6 hours of activity. Fitbit on-line help is available on “X” I have tried several times with no successful outcome
  • This app has gone downhill fast

Since Google took over this app has continued to decline in function. It constantly freezes especially when trying to add a food or scan an item. It now takes more steps to log food than it did before. I see developer comments telling people to force close, log out and log back in. Who wants to have to do that? Fix your app. But I’d did try it and it doesn’t work anyway. The dashboard also changed and it is now difficult to interpret and less useful. For example, you can see how many calories you ate or burned but you can’t see how many calories you have left to eat in a day without clicking through extra screens. I also have a lot of problems getting my watch to sync with the app. I’ve been a lifelong Fitbit user but I’m planning on jumping ship permanently to a better product. It doesn’t seem as if Google interested in investing time or effort into this product. And the majority of the recent reviews are all complaining about the same problems.

When trying to set up a Fitbit Ace 2, I’m unable to use the Add Child button to associate a member of my google family to the new device.
  • Update

1/4/26 Most recent update appears to have destroyed the battery life of my Inspire. Need to recharge every 3 days. Most recent update removed showing history of several metrics tracked. Did reset, etc but nothing shows up.
  • App sucks

This app really sucks since the Google buyout. It uses a lot of made up, useless metrics that are explained with word salad. Messages about your personal training level are inaccurate, and appear to rotate on timed intervals.

It literally signs me out every week and my progress isn’t saved at first. I have to refresh like 10 times before seeing my history.

Why doesn’t my fit bit set up each day? It has to been done manually to get my steps. Doesn’t make sense don’t like it
  • Sleep Data is way off

I have Charge 6 and Circular Ring. The Charge 6 sleep data is way off. It only registers about 20 mins of deep sleep per night where the ring registers about an hour. So far this is really disappointing how inaccurate this is.
