    You can’t watch anything because the stupid app doesn’t work! I’m so over this we pay hundreds of dollars for nothing

    Everything loads and loads and loads. I can’t even open live views. It just loads. Open the help screen? Nope it just loads. It doesn’t matter what network I’m connected to, an app to control your smart home and home security is absolutely useless if it can’t even do the basic things it needs to.

    The app will open for about 1 second and then closes. The Google website is no help. Can’t get to all my smart devices now. Supposedly works with iOS 16.1 so it should work with 16.4 on my phone.

    I don’t want Gemini, but the only choice is always “not now” and I have to answer every time I open the app!

  • Constantly nags about bluetooth and gemini :/

    Ignoring the obvious privacy concerns of this company, the app works pretty well. However I am quite frustrated that every time I open the app it nags me to turn on bluetooth even though it does not have permissions to access bluetooth devices and it will not stop promoting gemini. Honestly it’s a very disrespectful experience likely being pushed by the sales/business side of things. Do better google. Don’t be evil, remember?

  • Google is forcing you to stop using nest

    Google is forcing all nest users to transition from the nest app to Google home. Absolute scam. Had to pay for new cameras and I couldn’t even get the free cameras when they discontinued nest.
