I wish this app would be similar to the Notepad app on Samsung and would highlight the word your searching for in each file so you don’t have to read thru every word

Update: they updated the app but didn’t fix anything below. Please work on it guys. 1. On WiFi or Cellular, constantly flashes “Cannot Connect, try again later”. It’s not fine, it’s horrible, and incredibly distracting. I mean like 5-10 times per second!!!!!! Obviously a BUG IN YOUr CODE!!!!! 2. When typing, it often hides the keyboard mid typing. Something about the app is causing the keyboard to minimize, and this also interferes. 3. Basic things like indenting checklist. I just had a hilarious battle where I tried to indent a sub entry on a checklist, and over and over again it un-indented the same entry. I’m worried you guys don’t care about this app any more, but my data is locked up. If you want to discontinue it, fine, but give me instructions to offload my data and a suggested replacement. Or integrate it with one of the products you do care about.
  • New update is horrible

Been using Google keep for over 10 years and it's been great except for the new update which requires me to download Google calendar to set a simple reminder. Something so simple is now unusable. Will be finding another note app.
  • Bug report: Checkbox item disappears when typing numbers with Chinese Wubi keyboard on iOS

Hi Google Keep team, I’d like to report a bug related to checkboxes when using the Chinese Wubi keyboard. • Device: iPhone 17 Pro Max • OS: iOS 26.1 • Keyboard: Apple default Chinese Wubi input method • App: Google Keep (latest version from the App Store) Issue description: When I type in a checkbox and press Return to create a new, empty checkbox, if the first character I type in the new checkbox is a number, the new checkbox disappears, and that number is appended to the end of the previous checkbox’s text. If I type Chinese characters instead of a number, the problem does not occur. If I switch to the English keyboard, the problem also does not occur. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open Google Keep and create a new note with checkboxes. 2. In the first checkbox, use the Chinese Wubi keyboard to enter some text. 3. Press Return to create a new, empty checkbox below. 4. In the new empty checkbox, type a number (0–9) using the Chinese Wubi keyboard. Expected result: The number should be entered into the new checkbox as normal, and the new checkbox should remain. Actual result: The new checkbox disappears, and the number is added to the end of the previous checkbox’s content. I’m not sure whether this is caused by the input method or by Google Keep’s handling of the Chinese Wubi keyboard, but it is currently affecting normal use of checkboxes. Thank you for looking into this!

Having reminders integrated into the Keep app was the only reason I continued using it. Since you've decided to ruin a good thing and push reminders to tasks in Google Calender, I'll no longer be using Google Keep. I'm not downloading yet another Google app and using the Google Calender. Thanks for forcing my hand to use Apple Notes.
  • Good just two or three annoying issues.

I love this app and use it obsessively. I have been using it for a really long time actually and ALL of it works really well except a few things. I would be really grateful if you fixed these :) 1. Every time I type on a note, the keyboard will randomly disappear. Sometimes just once, sometimes up to three times. This is very annoying especially when I am spending some time to think. 2. Reorganizing the notes (dragging them up and down) can be really glitchy and hard. It seems like the app really doesn’t want you to do that. Honorable mention: It would be extremely helpful if you could still add non-bulletined captions to bulletined notes. Sometimes I don’t wan’t to add more to the title and need points of information that aren’t bullet points.
