  • Don’t change to google! Worse decision I ever made

To transfer the line it’s impossible, they say they have 24/7 support, but after you reach ou on support they help you once on messages, then only email. Now I’m stuck on limbo because I can’t complete transferring my line, they tell me to call AT&T but I can’t call as my process of transfer already started. So this is great, no one can help me and I can’t make calls or access data.
  • WORST Google experience

I had a critical issue where I couldn’t receive calls from a medical provider, and despite being told my iPhone SE was compatible with Google Fi, it ultimately wasn’t. This caused a lot of trouble. Support was extremely frustrating — every time a different agent responded, I had to repeat the same information. Overall, it was the worst support experience I’ve ever had and truly disappointing.

Account is made and everything is fully filled out and done. Service is activate onto device. Never had this problem. Restarted app uninstall install it back. Call Customer Service still having problems. I think it is just the update still processing itself referring to iOS 26 Apple update.

Customer support is just scripted outsourced trash
  • SheerID

SheerID is the worst thing to happen to googlefi. They are unresponsive and when that happens googlefi turns off your international data. And for military overseas that’s detrimental. Apps for work run off of data so when it’s turned off you’re removed from any and all information. Horrible service I DO NOT RECOMMEND BECAUSE OF SHEETID
  • Payment method

No matter what I do, close the app, restart my phone, delete the app and reinstall. Every time I try to update my payment method. The app freezes and I can’t do anything else.

So the phone line service seems okay. I haven’t had more than a few dropped calls per month that I notice. The more concerning part is that my family tells me they have sent to my phone number several messages many with images and after checking their message app I can see that these messages say delivered, all of us have RCS enabled, phones always updated etc, but I do not have theee images in my messages app. This has been the cause of concern because the Foi app says I may be missing several messages and or images from messages and that it recommends to update the app, restart my phone and then they will try redownloading the last 100 images. I’m like wait hold up. I’m already near my data limit for the month I absolutely don’t wanna go over cause 2g speeds or whatever they limit the speed to is slower than a snail smocking neth slithering internet data packets on a priority challenge. It’s redonkulously slow. Anyway I was gonna give them 2 stars but I just remember red how slow the internet data speeds get after I go over and that and the fact that the plan is about the same price as other comparable plans gives it only one star tonight….
  • Assumes eSIM

It appears app assumes that iPhone 17 Pro only has eSIMs. Which is wrong. International versions have physical SIM. And lot of us still have physical Fi SIMs!
