It was my absolute favorite and most used app until a few days ago. Crashes on my iPhone and iPad almost immediately. Too bad because I loved it. Need to find another option.

Tasks, which that helps me to write things on the lists to do the Art projects.
  • Good App but Missing a Few Features

I really like the app but wish you could add family members or other people to specific lists or assign them to specific reminders. That would make it so cool. I would also like the reminders to have color coding.

This is simple and very easy to use. I wish you could set a length of time to a task. Not just a start time. Some color coding options would be nice too. But overall I am liking this.

Hi Developers, I am a fellow ADHD chick and I like breaking down tasks that are daily and I try to do that here and create subtasks like for looking after animals or cleaning kitchen but can’t seem to repeat daily and create subtasks at same time is there a way you can do that and make it where we can repeat reoccurring tasks it helps me with reminders here just wish the events could be checked off and not be a actual event if you were wanting to time block and beable to check the task off without creating a actual event. Not sure if yall can do that to where I can put them as tasks for period of time almost like an event but able to be checked off and have color coding as well like events. All in all this is a great task app and love google calendar just want to make the tasks sometimes in a time frame for time blocking and have different colors along with reoccurring tasks flair subtasks together like I mentioned above I’d appreciate it so much and it would make google calendar even more valuable to me than it is now for simple reminders and tasks and events. There’s no other calendar like google calendar. I like it more than the iPhone calendar honestly.
  • Feature Request: Integrate Deadlines, Task Sorting, and Reliability Enhancements Across Google Calen

Hi Google Calendar and Tasks Teams, I’m writing to suggest a few key enhancements that would significantly improve my ability to plan, prioritize, and execute tasks using your tools. I rely heavily on both Google Calendar and Tasks to manage time-sensitive responsibilities, and a few key limitations are creating friction in my workflow: ⸻ 1. Add Support for Distinct “Due Dates” and “Work Dates” Right now, when I add a task, I can assign a date (and optionally a time), but I can’t distinguish between when I plan to work on the task and when it’s actually due. This causes confusion when priorities shift. For example: • I may plan to work on a task Wednesday because it’s due Friday. • If my Wednesday fills up unexpectedly, I need to know if I can push it—or if it’s a critical, non-negotiable deadline. Feature request: • Let me assign a due date and a scheduled work date to each task. • Let me sort tasks by due date so I can instantly see what’s flexible vs. urgent. • Ideally, provide reminders or visibility when a task’s due date is approaching, even if it’s scheduled for earlier. ⸻ 2. Support Grouping and Filtering Tasks by Priority and Deadline I use a variation of the Eisenhower Matrix to triage tasks: • Important/Urgent • Important/Not Urgent • Urgent/Not Important • Not Important/Not Urgent (these are often joy-giving but deprioritized) To manage these buckets: • I’d like to assign and filter by these labels or groupings. • I should be able to toggle which task lists I’m viewing, similar to how you might show/hide series in an Excel chart. • Whether this happens in Calendar or Tasks doesn’t matter—I just need one central, reliable location to group and interact with my priorities. ⸻ 3. Address Calendar Task Input Errors Lately, I’ve been experiencing a high failure rate when trying to input tasks directly in Google Calendar. The entries sometimes don’t save properly or disappear after entry. These errors are causing significant disruption, particularly when tasks are high-stakes or tied to hard deadlines. Request: • Please investigate and improve the reliability of task entry via Google Calendar. • Consider offering confirmation messages or undo options when a task is created. ⸻ Summary of Needs: • Distinction between due date and scheduled work date • Sorting and filtering by deadline and custom groupings (e.g., Eisenhower Matrix) • Toggle views for task lists • Stability and reliability in Calendar task entry • Integration and usability across both apps (Calendar and Tasks) Thanks for all the work you do. These changes would be a game-changer for managing meaningful, time-sensitive, and joyful tasks alike.
  • My cross-platform app for iOS, Windows, and Android

I use this app because it’s cross-platform and the Tasks with dates assigned appear natively on the Google Calendar which shows them on my watch’s calendar. But, IT REALLY NEEDS A SEARCH FEATURE SINCE I HAVE 100’s OF TASKS ON VARIOUS LISTS. Also, an offline backup solution would be nice as well, but at least the website interface allows me to print the list so I can save the different lists as a PDF file.
