  • Seems cool but disappointing

The main sell for this was that non apple users were supposed to be able to use as well, however requires you to have an appleID. So I still have to separately communicate with those that don’t have one …

Seems like a pretty cool and useful app…if I had any friends.

Love this app, the ability to share with people regardless if they have an iPhone or not, visually appealing. Also agree with others to add feature allowing guests to invite a +1. Also some events are streaming. Maybe allow for the location to also be a URL.

I love that apple finally came out with this. Improvements within the app should be added for example if someone viewed the invite but has not responded. Or us being able to add our own photo as the invite cover would be amazing! Thank you for finally creating this, saves us apple users from using other competitors.
  • Useless

I tried this app for an event. A lot of guests couldn’t open it unless they had an iCloud account. Also, I could not edit any responses.
  • Not great for seniors

I really wanted to like this app but if you invite any older family members to an event they immediately have problems with it because of the login requirements. Getting my mom to remember her apple password to say yes to an event is a bridge too far. I’ve got multiple senior family members who had issues accepting the invite.

I tried to use this for the first time and it keeps telling me that something went wrong. I’ve turned everything on with permissions and uninstalled and installed and it still keeps giving me problems

I love this app!!! It makes it easy to track attendance for events I am hosting. It would be nice if I had the ability to update my attendees guest count
  • Bad user testing

I created an event for family. They all have iPhones. I invited everyone via iMessage phone numbers. They clicked on the link to rsvp which happened via iCloud web interface. They were added to event via appleid email. I did not realize that messages I was sending about the event were going out as links to web based app. None of them had installed the app on their phone. IF they happened to read the email MAYBE they went to the web app version. Being young most rarely check their email. So without a text message coming in they were oblivious to event updates. Others got freaked out by the user agreements. Why people with an appleid are getting presented with user agreements for something they have already agreed to when they created their appleid binges my mind. All we needed was a slick group chat interface but instead Apple gave us a clunky app that DOESN’T “Just Work”
  • Horrible performance

I have had so many people say they could not access the app or the event said it was closed or I had to personally invite them which I tried to do and it would not let me accept them. This app is not working.
