LEAVE AIRPORT UTILITY ALONE AND STOP TRYING TO OBFUSCATE IT. PEOPLE STILL USE AIRPORT DEVICES. IF YOU DON’T WANT TO SUPPORT IT ANYMORE, JUST LEAVE THE APP ON THE STORE FOR THOSE WHO NEED IT. CORPORATE GREED AND LAZINESS AT ITS FINEST.

This app nor the Apple routers have ever been worth a dime. Even though I am connected to my AirPort Express this worthless app can’t see it. As I remember, when I had to set the router up using this abortion it was a major headache. And they never bothered to work it out. Throw your apple router away and move on.

In need of a network scanner and Apple blocked the WiFi scanning apps from pulling IP, DHCP and basic home or office networking. It’s made my mapping a basic network printer completely hopeless. All it does is scan first for a connection hub, hour glasses and that’s it!!

It has been too long since Apple provided hardware for Wi-Fi access. They need to revisit this category provide new airports. They were the best and easiest to use Wi-Fi devices on the market at the time.

Apple doesn’t want you to be able to mange your own network, they view it as a security risk. Preventing us from seeing MAC addresses and the wifi networks around us is just a childish move. Have to get a android for my next phone.
  • Has not been updated in 4 years and doesn’t work when routers are reset.

  • Love it but Backdoor for Hackers. 🥲

I love, love this app, but somehow, hackers and script kiddies have found a way to use it as a backdoor. Once I figured out how they were doing it, I uninstalled it from my iPhone. So far, no intrusions on my iPad. Update: They know how to use it as a backdoor on iPads too. Uninstalling…
  • Nearly useless

Wifi scanner functionality appears to have been completely removed. The only function of this app that remains is management of an Apple WAP, if by some accident of fate you still use one. Apple, just give us the same level of wifi diagnostics built into the OS on a Mac.
