  • Cut and Paste function changed

I used to be able to select several slides, hit Cut, then go to the slide I wanted them to follow, and hit Paste and it would insert them after that slide. For some reason, now it pastes them right on to the slide, so I am having to insert a blank slide first, and then hit paste. Annoying change!

  • Two limitations

In general, it works well. However,I can’t find a way to put a frame (line) around a picture and I can’t find a way to adjust vertical line separation freely (there is a way to adjust it but it is limited in its range - I want to put lines closer together than it allows).
  • A Solid Partner for Years

Keynote has never let me down, I’ve relied on in for years. There’s something about it that makes me more creative than with Powerpoint. With the deluge of AI-generated drivel, being able to tell an authentic story in a compelling manner is going to become more important than ever.
  • Highly recommend spending time here

I use MarkDown every day for 90% of my writing, so thought the new Markdown based presentation software from iA would be a slam dunk. I tried. Really. But I’m back with Keynote because it works simply if you want that, but also allows fine control of everything detail. Which is what you need when the presentation counts.
  • They finally added SVG support!

I don’t care about the AI features, but Keynote can finally handle SVG images now.
  • Not User Friendly

Apple likes to make things super complicated on Mac, everything is in a different area from where it needs to be. Why can I not access all of the features within the application and have to break out of the window to get to the menu by the apple symbol.
