Keynote is by far the best presentation tool for a Keynote speaker, teacher or anybody who needs to present ideas in a very effective way. I have use it for the las 10 years, and beside being powerful, is simple with beautiful interface, intuitive and free. Fully recommended
  • Keynote works well but is lagging behind the OS

I use Keynote for app mocks and prototyping. The PLUS: It has been working well and honestly I keep choosing Keynote over Figma or Sketch because it’s just so much faster. What could improve: Keynote is lagging a lot behind the OS and with Liquid Glass coming out soon, the gap is getting wider. Things like vibrancy, blur effect for color, gradients and pictures (it only supports blur for shadows), frost effect, translucent glass etc… should be available for Mocks or even for a regular presentation. I hope a team is working on it and will be happy to update to 5 stars if things change.
  • Fabulous but difficult to include videos

Love this app but videos in a slide show are SO complicated. The online help is foggy at best. I wish it were easier to just have videos play and all the way through…

I used another presentation software app for many years, until Keynote came out. The improvement in navigation, graphics, and text handling make this my go-to app. Easy to use, intuitive and clean. Just what I wanted without confusing menu items seldom used.

I frequently use Keynote for my slide presentations as well as in conjunction with iMovie and FinalCut Pro. It enables me to make animated slides, intuitively move and rotate words and photos. Sometimes I make animated photo collages on Keynote, and then download as a movie to incorporate into my longer movies. Overall, I’m pleased with this app.

I started using this right after OSX was invented. This is the best presentation software still, even though it has changed very little. The file formats are stable too, so that my key note slides from long ago still load the images, whereas ppt. slides are basically unreadable if they are more than 5 years old. The drawing and alignment functions are logical, simple, and fast. Faster to jot out simple figures in keynote than adobe products still. Love it!
