There simply isn't a better tool than FCP to organize and search a media database, or efficiently and intuitively arrange and rearrange media in a timeline.

I really love this software, I use it to make my YouTube videos, and it's so much better if you just try it, for $300 you can't go wrong, it's insanely fast. Only had it crash on me twice.

me gusta el final porque aprendi solo a editar videos, y a diferencia de otros programas, el final cut pro es muy amigable y sencillo de usar, siendo ademas una herrasmienta muy potente.

I have taken small steps into video creation and was using iMovie for the longest time until a friend allowed me used FCP. Holy cow what an amazing piece of software. I love it! I have been using it almost a year and still haven't scratched the surface of it's potential. When the online tutorials are over an hour long you know it's worth it!
  • Really useless

$300 and it can't actually stabilize video, it's features are super bare and don't work well at all. I'm totally limited, incredibly angry I wasted my money just to find out to actually stabilize footage I need to blow an extra $100 on external plugins. DaVinci Resolve is infinitely better, even Blender can stabilize video... Blender is free. Apple is the worst, FCPX doens't even work properly with the dolby vision format iPhones shoot in! totally useless, save your money, don't buy Final Cut Pro X.

I've been using FCPX for years but I've never tried another software to make a comparison. Recently, my kids needed to make videos, and because they have Adobe CS, I got them to use Premier Pro - I remember someone telling me how good it was so I started learning it with my kids and helping them make videos. After about two weeks of I came to the conclusion that FCPX might be better for them but I wondered if that was just because I knew FCPX so well? After about 1 hour of showing them the ropes, my kids loved using FCPX! It is so much more versatile, intuitive, easy to use, lots of free transitions, affects, & sounds, etc., and of course, it works seemlessly with their Mac. The best thing is though, their creativity has inceased exponentially and I don't need any encouragement them to get stuck into a project. Now, they really enjoy making videos! I've always liked using FCPX but this has given me a new apprciation for it.

Feature rich to not look like a beginner as you are learning.

v10.5.2 crashes whenever I try to resize the main window, and causes my entire OS to KP when trying to read an AVCHD DVD archive.

I've been a final cut editor for years now and it just keeps getting better and better. This version paired with the M1 macbook air is insanely responsive and quick! I recommend this program for anyone ranging from beginners to experts! Don't listen to the negative reviews, Final Cut Pro X is absolutely amazing.
