Why would you do this to your child it’s to rude especially if there 12 pr 13 and over. They are old enough to handle themselves at that age and if you don’t think so then dont give them a phone. If you have such little trust for your child like that then dont give them devices like that. There shouldn’t be a reason for you to need to monitor their device like that, if so find out wear they’re learning stuff from and take that away instead.

What kind of relationship are you trying to build with this? It’s like panopticon. Every move I make, I’m worried that I’ve done something wrong. That they’re watching. Why were they allowed to run wild and live free when they now make me sit still and be perfect? I can’t do anything. Schoolwork? Blocked. Anatomy for class? Heck no! It’s inappropriate. And now I find out my family, struggling to make ends meet due to unemployment is spending so much on this because they’ve deemed me untrustworthy after a hospital visit due to mental health. This has not and will not ever improve a relationship between guardian and child. To have to ask for them to unlock my internet in front of family and friends just to do something they asked me to, which frustrates them. How dare I ask for them to use an app they forced upon me? I truly do not see a use for this. Please just get a family tracker for location if that’s your concern. Children WILL limit themselves if screen time isn’t a scarcity. Please, we’re almost adults, how can you expect us to regulate for ourselves when the cutoff happens?

My parents have a 2 hour time limit for me, but that time limit stretched to 5 hours while it still says it’s only 2 hours, and for the past 2 hours it’s said there’s an hour and twenty minutes left of time limit and it hasn’t changed one minute since the past 2 hours.

This is a terrible app. My child is in the middle of their homework and it shuts everything off it’s so frustrating for them and creates an anxiety problem

It’s a great app!! If your parents are over protective!!! Who’s the wise genius that came up with this dumb app! Literally just a way to make kids miserable, at this rate I’m probably going to have this thing till I graduate high school!! Let’s say I’m on another app and I’m going something important and all of a sudden you’re hit with an hourglass saying “Time limit is up” and you have to wait until the very next day! Please Apple I’m begging you to take this off the App Store.
