It is so horrible your parents can make it were you can’t uninstall it so if you don’t need it anymore you have to get a new phone

this app is horrible and it’s controlling and it can give you a worse relationship with your child than you might already have. the fact that i have to ask my dad to turn off the time limits so i can simply google something on the internet is insane. i also think it’s beyond unfair that your parents can set restrictions that literally say that they are for children years younger than you. they are supposed to be age appropriate restrictions so why is my internet content being filtered to aid someone in elementary school?? i’m not even a bad kid and i’m not allowed to have social media and my dad still downloaded this on my phone thinking it would help with my phone usage even though my daily average is UNDER 3 HOURS. i think it’s an invasion of privacy and it’s unnecessary. if you really hate this app like me and are feeling really petty just delete it because nothings stopping you, it just might make your parents mad.

i’m giving this five stars mostly in response to the one star reviews. One review stated a child can delete the app but most tablets and phones have parental controls that removes the option to delete apps, so parents do your research. The other review said it’s controlling and oppressive but kids and teens need parental guidance especially on social media and especially in our crazy world where morals seemingly have left the planet and children are being negatively influenced. These platforms are the true oppressors, not the parents. Protection is not oppression. On that note, thank you and good job at&t!
