  • Blocks legitimate calls

The app started to block all of my business phone numbers assigned to my employees as spam. Employees receive a message telling them that there isn’t a call path. I have to disable spam blocking to get their calls (which are then shown as spam risk) but now I get all of the real spam calls too.
  • The app is working fine now I’m glad it’s back to normal because it’s a great app thanks for respond

This app worked great but since the newest update the time of the calls are not right for an example I got a call at one o’clock but the app showed the call at 6 o’clock and it was the same with all calls all the times were dated three to six hours off the right time have never had issues like this love the app but this was a shocker hope it gets fixed
  • Call block stopped working

The latest update stopped the call blocking feature. I was wondering why I keep getting spam calls now while before, ActiveArmor blocks it. Now, it just gives me a notification and spam calls are coming through, even after deleting and reinstalling the app. It also doesn’t show anymore on the Call Block list on Phone settings. Something seriously went wrong here with the recent update. It’s now kind of useless.
  • Works half the time, gets half the stars.

While it does screen a number of spam calls, it lets a lot through. This app doesn’t do anything to block spam texts.
  • Spam calls are not blocked anymore

Spam calls are not blocked anymore the are only “flagged” big deal! That makes this app nearly worthless. Please fix this issue!
  • Not Blocking Scam Calls

Just updated the App since it stopped blocking spam calls this morning. Even with my settings set to block spam calls, all it does is flag them but they still come through. I’ve changed that setting numerous times and still getting the spam calls coming through. Pretty much makes this app useless now. And don’t recommend to update, I already did that.
  • It’s gotten too bloated

When I first got this app, it was to report and block spam calls. Now it’s just overly bloated with options I don’t want. It’s hard to just open it and report/block a scam/spam call now. Why not offer just an app for calls like before. Of people want all the bells and whistles, make a full service app (or keep this one and make a simple calls only app as well). It should be this time consuming to block a scammer.
  • Do what you say

Would be nice if the app did what it claims and screen calls
  • Notification Spam

6-18-25 Update: still not fixed The app works well enough but I’m sick and tired of relentless push notifications to enable VPN. ATT don’t you dare respond to this review like you did to another user back in February claiming it’s a bug to be fixed in the next update. It was NOT fixed in any of the updates since then. Just turn it off! When I go a full month without seeing the VPN notification, I’ll delete this review and change to a 5 star because the app does indeed work pretty well for me. But I can’t abide the VPN notifications.
