First off the game could be fun . But it’s one giant money Pitt. The payout’s for winning is the lowest in the industry. Forget about updating your equipment unless you’re willing to dump a huge amount of money into the site which is not worth it. Don’t get me started on the matchups there a joke . You can always tell when the site is not making money. You will be matched up with there bots that flood the site.

The wind is so inconsistent, it’s hard to judge……unless you pay for specialized golf balls. I am NOT into pay to win

Listen this game is fun, but trying to move up in the ranks is very difficult. You save coins to upgrade your clubs and it’s just never enough. Do you save coins to spin the wheel and you never get the good stuff that’s in the wheel, which is very little as it is. I do enjoy getting better at it and trying to learn the wind and where you need to put it to dunk it and the competition is fun as well but sometimes it’s very lopsided. Thank you for the game. Thank you for the tournaments. They’re super fun, but you need to hook people up when they pay, their coins to try to get good stuff out of the wheel and not pay actual money because the people to do that are cheaters. Anyway fun game. Thanks.
  • Ads.

There’s no forced ads. But ads to get extra stuff. Which is nice. But it seems whenever there’s something you really want that requires you to watch an ad, there’s always “no ads available”. Updated this to 2-stars. Definitely has not players. Not really noticeable until tournaments. Seems wind has zero effect on them. There’s no way that lining up a shot directly on the hole should be going perfectly in when there’s a 9mph crosswind and no adjustments were made.
  • Doesn’t follow the rules of golf

My biggest pet peace with the game is that a shot out of bounds does impose a 2-stroke penalty. This should at least be a 1-stroke penalty! My second issue is with club selection limitations. There are times I would prefer to use an iron, but forced to use the fairway wood instead.

I swear the wind effect changes. Just when you think you’ve got the hang of it, you can’t sink a shot from 100 yards to save your life. Very frustrating. I feel like I’m playing bots all the time, because they never miss. Albatross, albatross, Eagle out in 200 yards. I’ve spent money on this game, too.
  • Sad game, pay to win, wish I could give 0 stars

First off, the fact that someone who plays for less than a day is playing against people with clubs that are stupidly higher than then is just an easy way to get people to not play anymore. Second, the game chooses who it wants to win at the beginning of the match, your ball will adjust accordingly NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO OR HOW YOU HIT THE BALL if both parties land the fairway throughout the hole. I literally got a perfect and adjusted for the wind and the ball went flying the opposite way and right into the wall for NO REASON! Let alone if you spend money you get things that are EXPONENTIALLY BETTER than anything you can get free to play. The “wheels” you can spin for prizes are 99% you will get the lowest thing on the wheel… it’s shady advertising just like most pay to win games are let alone don’t play for too long or you will hit a MASSIVE PAYWALL! Be expected to pay 15 dollars or more just to stay in competition with anyone because EVERYONE past earl rank all spent money…. “Magically” just a terrible game!
  • Frustrating Algorithm

I want to start off by saying that I have spent hundreds of hours playing this game and thoroughly enjoy it. The graphics are good, the different balls make each hole different, and the challenges can be fun. The frustrating part, and it’s the biggest headwind as a player, is being matched up with someone who is several levels ahead of you when it comes to clubs. I admittedly play a ton of Kingdom and know that you are going to be going up against better players the further you progress through the month, but when your opponent is 2-3 club levels above you, they are able to drive the green and you are lucky to hole out in three. It’s unfortunate that the first thing I have to do is check to see how many games my opponent has played (generally 10,000 plus whereas I’ve only played 2,900) to see if it is even worth it to use a special ball or if it would be wasting it. I gave this game four stars because it is fun to play, but beyond disheartening when you get matched up with someone who has clubs several levels above you and you know before they tee off that you don’t stand a chance of winning unless they make a monumental error, which is uncommon. There does not seem to be a good way to match up “like” opponents of the same club levels. Lastly, the reason I decided to leave a review is because I’m only asked to rate the game when I lose a game. When I lose a game, it is generally against an opponent who is multiple skill-levels ahead of me and I needed to vent my frustration. I deleted my profile and started a new one several months ago just to experience similar competition and not get demolished for trying to advance through the game. After reviewing other reviews, it appears I’m not the only one who feels this way. Thank you.

If you don’t spend over $1000 you don’t get the clubs needed to stay competitive regardless what you do. If you don’t want to spend that money and like to lose a lot you’ll love it!
