    The commercials are disgusting, long and disturbing. Especially the ads for GardenScapes. One today actually had a guy picking his nose and wiping it on his shirt. WTH!!!

    I went back to playing the classic version because I don’t like all the fluff in the new version but it seems like all that fluff I wanted to get away from is creeping in. I have just about every option turned off but WWF insists I should play with new people. I have no way to turn this option off because it’s already turned off. Please fix this issue…………….!

    I regret updating!! The play is slow, the info box and words are too small, it’s not as seamless and I no longer enjoy playing.

    This game will allow you to place tiles and give you one score then if you place the same tiles back in the exact same spots, sometimes I would get less of a score. I took screenshots to add to this review, however there was no way to add them. Games are also set up for failure or success, that doesn’t have anything to do with skills.

  • Worst game with too many ads

    This used to be the best game and now there’s no way to remove the aggressive ads. Do t bother. The ads come too frequently - about 10 times per game.

    Sadly this once great adaptation of scrabble has become nearly unplayable due to constant pop up commercials and detours. Its seems instead of making a good game its become a tool to try to divert players to gambling sites and other games, very sad. Its also hard to find a non AI opponent, which also used to be a great part of it. Profit over integrity and pride in a product.

    I have played Word Wars for many years. More and more opponents score will jump prior to even playing their turn. It is a royal pain,. I’m not certain if the opponent knows a way to raise score through some technical means or if this is a significant glitch on the part of Word Wars team. Either way, stop it! It is a ruin to playing a fair and honest and otherwise good game. I have blocked many games/opponents because of this.. I just want to lose fairly.

    Another mandatory upgrade sees us lose the option to play that quick random game with a live player. Now we’re forced to play Duchebag Dave in the Solo challenge if wanna get a game in between waiting for live players to make a move. AWFUL.

    The actual game itself is fun, but I have to manually close four ads after every single move. There’s also a persistent ad at the top of every game.

    Words with friends “classic” should be the minimal version where you just play friends without any of the extra stuff. I don’t want solo challenges or anything else. You have made this WWF2 so complicated that it glitches all day. It is so slow. I challenge the solo games by accident. It’s just terrible.
