  • Love the Crosswords, Dislike how the Streak Resets

    I’ve had my streak reset over and over the past couple of months. The first time it happened (no reason either) they reset it to the almost 300th day streak. Reset again (again no reason why) and they said it was fixed. It didn’t work and two weeks later, it reset again for no reason. Sad a simple streak in an app resets on its own with no explanation from the Zynga Support.

  • Rip off game

    This game has had an ongoing issue for 6 months now. If you try to ‘buy’ the completed sets for 0 the download fails. I have reported the problem on multiple occasions to no avail! Now, the download also fails for the sets that cost 9 and 18 coins. How can you win the weekly tournament when that happens? Question: how many programmers does it take to fix the issue? And how long?

    About once a month or more, the app repetitively pops up with reward windows that go on endlessly which prevents continuing with doing the puzzles with my iPad. I prefer to use the iPad, but most of the time I can switch to my iPhone and continue doing the daily puzzles that way. Eventually, it will work again with the iPad, but this can take several days.

    I’ve had this game for a loooong time and have always loved it, BUT lately it won’t let me play any games in packs. When I click on a pack, it states “download failed”. Please fix this issue soon so I can continue enjoying extra puzzles.

  • Puzzle packs erase themselves after purchase

    Enjoy the crosswords. Play almost everyday. But the packs erase themselves after purchase if you leave the app, which is a major flaw, almost a scam if I thought it was intentional. I have to crunch out and complete all five puzzles before doing literally anything else in my day or risk losing the (REAL) money I spent on the pack, as they can not be repurchased, refunded, or revisited. If I scroll to track down the pack I had previously purchased it to redownload it simply says “download failure”. I enjoy the app otherwise, please resolve the issue so I can provide a better rating.

    I purchased every themed puzzle and now there’s a few hundred puzzles back to being unpurchased. Years of completed puzzles are now incomplete. Tech support keeps telling me they understand how I feel with no solution. If I see no resolve I quit this app forever. This is real bad that sporadic data can be wiped so easily. They tell you to wait patiently and that a team is working on it. Then they close the ticket on you. By far the worst tech support ever. Lazy and hoping people give up.

    First review: Just a puzzle, please. If you want me know about your other apps, provide a link in your 'about' pull down. Second review: I tried to ‘earn’ additional hints and took the math quiz. I aced it, 40/40, and was supposed to be given 75 coins, but the quiz dead-ended on a screen telling me I had to ‘share on facebook’. However, there was no ‘share’ button. Third review, October 2020: Now you’re pushing for a facebook login. If you insist, I will find another source for my daily crossword puzzle. Fourth review, October 23, 2025: For several weeks, response time has been inconsistent, apparently due to loading ads. Then today, I finished the puzzle, the screen dimmed, and that was it - it got stuck on the dimmed screen, so here I am . . .
