    I just spent 20 bucks to buy 1000 coins in this game, used none of them and then went into the game today and only had 663. I think I’m gonna file a complaint with the BBB. This is ridiculous. They are constantly taking away coins that I have earned. I want my money back!

    I like the game. However, there are way too many Ads! Also, the Ads - mostly just hang there. Can’t click out of them after having to endure watching them! They won’t go away! I am forced to reboot my phone/ IPad! VERY ANNOYING! Please ADDRESS THIS!

    Update: 12/10/25: Quoi? Really? A French word being allowed? Why just French? Why so selective? Either you do or you don’t allow foreign language in this game! Make up your mind!! I really enjoy this game but I’d love to know how anyone could get any configuration of letters to add up to the 1523 I saw that someone supposedly got using the word zarf! 🥹😳😆. I’ve been place 2014 and your still allowing the 4th letter of the Hebrew alphabet to be a valid word, but not Gouda? (As in the cheese)? Really need to update your word list.

    For some reason, many words in the game dictionary aren’t real. Their definitions only say that they are “valid words.” In addition, a lot of words are from other languages. Some are even proper nouns. SMH.

    I’ve played this game off and on for 8 years and it’s gotten to the point where there’s so many ads, the app lags terribly, it’s glitchy and they give you 5/6 vowels at a time in an attempt to get you to spend money. My friends don’t even want to play anymore because it sucks all of the fun out of it. Will be deleting and using a different app to play

    The last few weeks I have seen some discrepancies and how the game behaves from past play. Leaderboard ads typically are four ads a day before shading to unavailable. Recently the leaderboard ads remain available to watch, add points, and then after watching extra ads points are removed. When reviewing another users profile (to help in making decisions if you want to play that user) the users‘s monthly report is positioned over their join date. Reviewing user profiles has become a necessity for the overwhelming amount of spam accounts joining. Before accepting a challenge, I will review the uses profile for their join date, their average scoring game and how many completed games they have. I am in a words with friends group and the other members have expressed similar issues, but not as consistent as mine in the last few weeks. Where can I reload the game or are these current bugs in the works to be fixed? Thank you.

    I’ve never had so many freezing issues with this app in a long time, but lately it seems to happen within the last couple weeks, even though the app is up-to-date. I hope they will fix that soon.

  • Doesn’t sync well

    This game does not work well if you play on multiple devices in Apple environment. Completed games have to be deleted individually on each device. Notifications aren’t synced (play on one device and the other still shows open actions). Also Seasonal goals are only available on iPhone, they are not available on iPad. Would be better if everything synchronized better between devices.
