    The app just shuts down in the middle of designing and have to start all over again. Learned to save a long the way but if just a one time label…do t want to have to save each step to avoid having the app crash.

    I’m very pleased with this PTouch printer utility. I can design different layout, fonts, and graphics with little effort. The templates with different categories is very useful. I have one request, this application needs to detect and display the color of the background and ink on the loaded labels especially for the Embellishment Elite model of Label Printer. I use a variety of labels and I rarely find an available matching product when setting up the printer or changing label stock.

    The only problem that I have with this is that I have to go to the Bluetooth settings and tell my phone to reconnect every time I use it.

    Complicated to engage, with Bluetooth connection. Too many design templates get cute when all you want is to make a label. Uses excess tape.

    The printer is wonderful but the software is painful to use. The editor is old and clunky, the app requires you to find the printer with every use, and did I mention the editor. This app minimally requires an overhaul if not a bottom up rethink.

  • Stopped connecting to phone through bluetooth

    It was always a touch slow to connect to my iPhone through Bluetooth but now it's taking 30 to 45 seconds to show up and then it often doesn't connect correctly the first or second time I try to make it connect, resulting in like a five minute process to make one label.

    I don’t know what else to say. If I have to replace the label maker I will make sure to get one that works a lot better. This software is feature packed and works amazingly well. The PT-P300BT constantly disconnects from Bluetooth even when plugged in. It takes MINUTES not seconds to reconnect when it drops. I can’t stand the thing at all. If they make one that connects better this would be a solid pairing but if you have the kind of time needed to be waiting around for your label maker to pair with your phone this software can’t be beat!
