Too many label printers are not very friendly to Macs. This printer software integrates with MacOS to communicate smoothly with the P-touch printer and lets you mix text and graphics. The Check Media button reassures you which label cartridge is inserted.
  • Doesn't work unless connected via USB

I have several Brother printers; (specifically PT-P900W and QL-810W) They're active on the wireless network. I can interact with their webui. However the app won't ever talk to them. Brother's support, thus far, has been useless. I was really hoping these would work; sadly, it seems these will only work if you own a windows host to drive them.

This application is not easy to use the margins are extremely wide, and the printer is not cutting and the desired designated length. Annoying

This label maker works great. I use it all the time at my church and at home. Great purchase! Easy to use.
  • Terrible

If you ask me to review an app when I’m trying to use it, you get a 1. Also, this software is clunky and terrible: if there was another option I would use it.

This software really needs the ability to refresh a database file that is attached. If I modify the file while the app is open it won’t detect any newly added records. If I select a new database, and select the same file then all my bindings are lost. The only work-around is that I’m forced to close and re-open the app to see the new records

Once you resize the text box I haven’t been able to re-edit the text. Labels print fine, but having problem with the editor
  • Basic, but it works

Generally okay, but not a 5-star product. It works, I can print labels, but that’s it. Simple quality of life issues like the inability to remember a preferred default font prevent this app from being great.

The Mac app is crippled compared to the Windows version, missing features that would allow you to fully take advantage of some of the feature of your printer. This includes saving templates to the printer. Many people have Macs, Brother. They shouldn’t be forced to use an inferior OS just to fully use your accessory. In addition to that, looking at the version history, you can see that the app hasn’t been updated with anything other than bug fixes for years. As Mac users, we deserve better.
