  • App and Business Mgmt is as bad as the paper itself.

RGJ wants subscribers but the website to subscribe is full of amateurish errors and it’s obvious management hasn’t used it and IT hasn’t fully tested it to make it user friendly. Yes, “user friendly” makes it easy for subscribers to sign up for your 2 day old news. Call me and I’ll walk you through the issues. And then there is the privacy options on the app. RGJ must be bleeding cash, partly because of their non-user friendly subscription page so ALL privacy options are hard set to Allow Always and can’t be changed. Not just the functional ones, ALL of them. Why provide an option page if options don’t exist? Bad management is the first rock to turn over and look under. I quit. It was just to hard. Management can call me and I’ll give you details, for free, and not two days later, because the RGJ should be a better.

Despite subscribing and paying for a full year in advance I am unable to read the RGJ via the app. It fails to recognize my log in as a subscriber.
  • Happy to have a local paper

I like to have a local paper, albeit much smaller than it once was. We need to support local journalism
  • Can’t Keep iTunes Subscription Working

Is it stupidity or just a lack of concern. Who knows. My iTunes Subscription consistently fails to be recognized by this app. All of the buttons & links to reconnect your iTunes Subscription to the app do absolutely nothing!

A must read to stay informed on what’s happening in the Truckee Meadows and Northern Nevada.
