A good app for reading the newspaper. A little glitchy at times, but works reasonably well.

Happy with the paper covers of variety of things, but it’s but it’s an analysis of daily life in Louisville is very important to me so I know exactly what it’s going on.

What a waste of the Sunday 6/28/2020 paper! In the first section we have seen all the pictures before of the protesters. One statement in the front page says “How a historic month in Louisville has changed the city.” Where’s the change, shootings continue everyday and most of them if not all are black in black shootings. No amount of money given to programs is going to change the systemic problems in these communities unless the people are willing to change It takes a long time to see real change ! Also, in the Scene section today, the story on the front page is old news. I read this story earlier in the week on a news app. People are getting tired of the protester stories taking over the entire paper and news on the TV. There are other stories to report on.

Always great to read the CJ everyday. Southern Indiana new coverage has increased a little bit. Some reporters still seem to think we don’t exist. HS sports coverage is still zero except when the Courier carries something from the Indianapolis Star. Overall stories are great and when you compare it to other papers in the region the CJ is superior.

I've set my app to notify me about breaking news and subjects I care about, but the only notifications I get are for sports. I've selected topics like traffic, important incidents, and political news—not sports. To most people, sports news isn't considered "breaking news." I only want to be notified about important subjects that are relevant to me, and I can't use an app that constantly sends me sports updates.
  • Not a fan of the new format.

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Recently, it’s changed so you can’t read any articles at all when you reach your “free limit” unless you subscribe for 19.95 a month. Absolutely ridiculous. The other local news channels do not charge for their apps, and I get that the CJ has to make their bank somehow, but 19.95/monthly is out of reach for most working class people in the city of Louisville.
