  • Doesn’t work for me

I’ve used this on two up-to-date iPads and it repeatedly fails to enable me to sign in. Going to the app to press the requested code restarts the login verification in an endless loop.

Poor security implementation. Clearly implemented for Adobe’s goals rather than for the user.
  • Too much trouble to launch

I had not used Adobe Lightroom on my iPad for a few weeks but then decided to edit a new photo with it. I was asked to confirm my identity, password, and verification code (already super annoying since I never logged out of the app), but when I tried to use the Adobe Account app it also required my email, password, phone number, and the code texted to my phone. Seven annoying hoops that the customer needs to jump through just to use the software that a few years ago you owned and was never bothered about after paying the licensing fee. The greed and disregard for the paying customer displayed by Adobe is appalling.

The whole setup is dumb. You have to have the creative cloud app, the access app and then you have the adobe storage bot that’s not the right one to pu files you want to interact with in iOS. I use non Adobe whenever possible.
  • Like the security, although sad have to have it

I’ve been using this for years now and it works BUT, by now, it could be so much better / smarter. It feels outdated and not clever to the point that sometimes I check if it was discontinued or if Adobe launched something to replace it… first of all, I never managed to get a notification by the app - yes, all notifications are enabled, background updates are on… CC subscriber for as long as I know Adobe offers subscription, app user since released, many different phones and iOS since, not a single notification by the app! Happens often: go to an Adobe site that asks for login, put my info and stare at my phone waiting for the app notification and nothing! I have to open the app and check the code/authorize. Also at this point o think it should be smarter about frequently used devices/browsers and even detect if the adobe app that’s asking for code is actually installed in the same phone of the app! Anyway, the app works but could do better at this point.
