  • Why, I will loose functions

Developer, I got your response, why would I pay so much for a lifetime subscription when cal 5 has the 2 things I use. You all are are funny. Why would I switch, I have calendar 5 which I paid for. It has natural language input and tasks. Those are the only 2 things I use other than basic calendar stuff. It’s not worth $20 a year for a bunch of stuff I won’t use. If calendar 5 stops I’ll just go back to iOS calendar. Maybe add a lower tier subscription. Oh wait, I hate the subscription model. Good day!

I did some research as I did away with outlook and wanted a very functional calendaro. I can color code, it syncs with my iPad and my iPhone, allows me to do repeat occurrences, and has a planner for notes as well. It takes a couple days to get used to it, and make sure settings allow to sync up properly —- once done it’s fantastic!

This is so frustrating!! I just got a new MacBook and I can’t close out the app because it won’t let me because there’s a pop up that won’t let me quit or move the app to the trash/uninstall it and now I can’t shut my laptop down because I can’t quit the app. Stupid
  • Data Lost

I’m devastated. I’ve been using this app for 13 years and had everything in my life stored here: birthdays, anniversaries, appointments, trips, any and every important memory has been logged here. All of a sudden this morning, the app was wiped clean. It seems an update was done 23 hours ago. The troubleshooting options aren’t applicable as I don’t connect this app to other calendars. Aside from self help articles, an AI bot is the only other option to reach out to and the only advice is that this app is not stand alone but synched with other calendars. I only enter everything directly into the app and was not aware this app does not store any data. There’s no way to connect with anyone but even if I could it seems everything is gone and I can’t get it back. Now that I’m reading other reviews, I’m not the only one who’s lost everything. Be very careful using this app

Why are you selling lifetime inapp if you are not going to stand with your promise? It used to be one time payment app and then you brought subscription and tried to upsell it and now you are trying to sell lifetime/one-time purchase option. It was pathetic when you did it once but to do it again, I don’t know what to call it.

I use Readdle Calendars over Google calendar or Apple calendar because of the ease in having multiple calendars and the way it presents itself on my iPhone. I can look at a week rather than limiting it to three days or one day. I have made suggestions to the company about different aspects that might be changed or they might consider adding, and every single time I make a suggestion, they respond back. Sometimes they make the suggestion part of the app and other times no. But they respond every single time! I highly recommend this app and the Readdle company
  • Disappointed, possibly devastated

I’ve been using this app for several years now and actually really enjoy it. It was simple and easy to use. I’d been using it to keep track of everything from appointments, birthdays, family events and trips. I used it as a daily sleep journal, to keep track of bills and monthly movements. And now, I don’t know who is to blame. My phone company, whose updates have never affected my app experiences. Or this app, for doing some sort of update over night. But everything is gone. Every birthday, anniversary, funeral and appointment is gone. And now I just want to cry because I don’t know what to do.

When I first got this calendar, it allowed you to repeat events. If you already have an event that repeats, do not delete it because you will not be able to repeat it or any again, unless you want to pay for the upgrade version. If it was still available without the upgrade. I would’ve give it more stars.
