Coming from an Apple Watch to a Garmin has been the best decision I have made when it came to tech. My Apple Watch was getting stale and I wanted more health data as I am a nurse. I did so much research and decided to get the Venu . This app will keep up with your busy life style and is jam packed with health info. It’s user friendly and very compact and straight forward but yet, not boring. People are sleeping on Garmin and I’m not sure why. This watch and app put all my other smart watches and fitness watches to shame.

I should not have to default one watch as my primary. It should be able to pull combine data from multiple watches to give me body battery, training readiness, etc. Please update this app to support those who have multiple devices so that we don’t have to choice one and when we wear the other device we have limited data. Also can you change the pink color on the sleep tracker for Awake? It is two close to the REM color making the two almost blend. Green, orange, something to add contrast.
  • Poor data integration with Apple Health

Garmin needs to update the app and the Apple Health integration to share more data, especially heart rate variability, which is becoming a more common and important metric to track and have visibility.

Great app and works as intended though having the option to add widgets would have been nice.

The app is not user friendly. Take the create a workout option. It is beyond frustrating. Simply scrolling through the workout in edit mode is nearly impossible. You have to catch the very edge of the screen to scroll to the next exercise. It’s literally taking hours to create and edit a short workout. 🙄

Garmin Connect has been my go-to fitness and health app since I started investing in myself and my health during the pandemic. Their user interface, community features, activity tracking etc are so fun and easy to use, especially considering they are free with the purchase of a watch. I’m a super fan and I am grateful to Garmin for being such a big part of my journey!

I have the Garmin Lily 2 and therefore connect it via this app. I like this app because it’s easy to navigate. I don’t run much but I lift and it actually helps me track my sets, reps, weight. It also provides a rest period integrated into lifts if you want. You can edit at any time and during workout. It’s also good for hiking and providing hikes in the area with Garmin Trails. I also like how it syncs pretty quickly in the morning and provides a sleep score, and stress levels from the previous day. I have run a little bit and walked briskly and it tracks very well in my opinion. Helps me stay in zone 2 for running. Definitely recommend and there are so many ways to use this watch/this app. Very user friendly, vast audience of athletic populations as well! You can also compete with friends and do competitions with other garmin users!
