Paid $25 and you still need subscription to do downloading offline maps. Thankfully there appear to be many more modern fishing apps nowadays without so many 1-star reviews

I have used this app for years, but it no longer works when I try to use any of the features. It tells me that I need a subscription when I go to subscribe it tells me that I’ve already paid until 2026. There is no clear path on how to fix this. I have tried updating the app, deleting the app and adding it back on without any luck. Now I have a $60 app that I can’t use.

It’s the best pocket app for boating or quickly making a bathy chart, some things could use a little polishing however

I'm not sure if proper revision testing was performed. I wish I hadn't updated. On the iPhone, the route details display is now under "Review" on the current route menu. It added 69 hazards to a 63 mile route with only 2 areas of concern based on my boat settings. I liked being able to set waypoints for areas of concern (bridges that open on set schedules, ...) but these bogus alerts are clogging the details. Your AI is hallucinating. It generated the route, then complains if the route is too close to a pylon or ATON. How do I revert to the previous version or turn off the display of the bogus hazards?
  • Great App, Terrible Performance.

I pay 50 dollar yearly for this app. I have used it internationally as well as in my home harbor. It’s outright better than my nav system built into my boat when it works. This apps performance and reliability are ZERO. You can set everything up the night before on wifi and it’s gone at the dock. I would like a refund for the subscription this year as it’s gotten really bad.

Half the time now you can’t even login. It just shows a spinning icon forever. It just keeps getting more and more buggy
  • So much worse than it should be

This app is so much worse than it should be. My main complaint is that its GPS position tracking at low speeds repeatedly freezes up. Other apps will be accurately tracking my location, but Navionics will stop updating. The only way to fix it is to force quit and restart the app. I had to do this a half a dozen times the other day. Are you drifting onto a hazardous reef? With Navionics you’ll never know! Other minor complaints: The relief shading is great, but it’s not used to report depth, so depths are often extremely inaccurate, even in areas with high resolution relief shading. The app is a battery hog.

I’ve used this app for the past few years and have been sorely disappointed. The new maps were great I’ve used it even for land construction, and it’s helped keep straight lines and keep track of previous lines. The new problem is that all land is now brown with little exception most inland is not shown and I’ve tried everything and can’t figure out why? I emailed to try and figure it out but have gotten no reply. Overall deeply disappointed!!
  • Great app… power drain

I use this app all the time on the water, my only complaint is how fast it deteriorates battery. I have an iPhone 15 max, I only get a few hours on the water because it eats it so fast. Fix this, and it’s the best.
