    By far the most expensive option out of the delivery apps. They pretend to be cheaper by pushing “free delivery fee” promos just to charge you other fees to make up for it. Use Grubhub that’s the cheapest option currently

    Postmates scammed me out of nearly $33 by removing a valid 50% off promo code after I placed my order. What was supposed to be a $50 total suddenly became $83—with no explanation or warning. Their customer service refused to help because I couldn’t provide a screenshot of the promo code, even though they know it disappears once used. This is deceptive and unethical. They baited me with a promo, then quietly removed it after checkout and blamed me for not having proof. I’ve used Postmates for years, but this experience has destroyed my trust. If they can change your total after you order and hide behind policies to avoid accountability, then no one is safe. Shame on them.

    Ordered something at 7pm, the order disappeared from the app, then I wake up to 3 missed calls at 4am to them trying to deliver it(9 hours late). They still charged me for it after cancelling the order and won’t give me a refund, total fraud.

    Service tax being 6 dollars extra on an 11 dollar meal is nefarious. If those service taxes are going towards helping deliverers, what’s the point in adding a tip then? Especially when the service tax itself is over half of the meal price itself. Make it make sense uber.

    Wow. Where do I even start? How about the past 2 orders have been a mess. And Postmates help just made it worse. Two orders ago, my order was about to be picked up, but 20 mins later I check, and nothing has changed. The driver hadn’t moved either and weren’t far from the location. I reached out to get a new delivery person and they said they reassigned the order, but instead they cancelled it. Now, that money is also on hold before it goes back to my account in 3+ days. My last order, I get a call from my driver saying someone else picked up the order 5 mins earlier - yet on the app it just shows me the current delivery guy. He said he would call me back, yet now I have a new driver who called me with the same situation. I’ve had other times where something from the order is missing or was not good - I report it and even have a photo to upload for proof - and sometimes just get a response that the order is not eligible for a return. What?! Why am I paying this extra money for the service overall to have only gotten worse over the last few months - then something happens and now my money is on hold until whenever it goes back into my account days later. When trying to get help via chat, some of the options aren’t there and when you try to talk to someone… you have to go through a whole back and forth with the bot just to try to get through to someone. I’ve been a part of the uber one but I’m just waiting until it’s done this month and cancelling. I also had been an avid user of Postmates for the past year. I have witnessed the downfall of their service overall.
