  • Claiming more transparency while being less transparent

Uber claims their new rates are more transparent because they show the upfront pay for trips but in reality it was an excuse for them to remove the per mile rates and per minute rates so they can pay drivers less without them realizing. The new rates do not respect drivers time especially on long distance trips. I have regularly been seeing trip offers that are less than half of the pay of the old rate system. This is pure greed and an insult to drivers intelligence.

The app doesn’t give money only problems with orders and in support system only robots! Horrible!

They should really consider giving us an extra dollar per trip because sometimes there’s times where we get sent out to places where there’s low ride-share request volume and it’s takes away time for us to get back to the busy area . Other wise this app would be 5 stars.
  • Don’t want to pay. Just door dash instead!

App wouldn’t allow to confirm drop off customer cancelled even though the order was handed to them so support didn’t want to pay anything for my time or gas even though I done the work and customer got their stuff. Just door dash. You will ALWAYS get paid for delivering, for attempts, customer cancelling whatever the case … Uber is a joke! One less driver you have now ! Also thank you to the second agent I spoke to who heard me out and helped me the first one I spoke to hope you get ripped off like you tried to do me.

Quality of work on app depends on location. My first delivery was a 47 minute drive for 20 miles for $6 to deliver very very saucy meals in to-go boxes. The customer complained about the sauce having spilled out of the box. Thats out of my control, i guess she’s never picked up her own to-go. Anyways, i am disappointed with that first time experience for those reasons as well as my starting location was in a completely different city than where the drop off was. I thought it went city by city or town by town.

$3 to go for a 40 minute drive is wicked. This is my honest opinion and see why others choose DD 🤷‍♂️
  • What Vehicle qualified for uber xl

I don’t understand why Mazda CX-9 has uber XL but Mazda CX-90 don’t. CX-90 is more advanced over cx-9, cx90 has more room, advanced features and technology, bigger n better than cx9 but yet uber find it okay to allow cx9 for xl but refuse to give same to cx90. This doesn’t make sense. Even Kia sorento n Mitsubishi has xl but cx90 is not. This is funny. I think what uber needs to do is asks for seat n pictures of xl n not someone sitting in his office to decide which one can have xl or not . In corporate world this doesn’t make sense
