    I have used this program several times throughout my life to get back in running shape. Never thought I would love running because whenever I tried, I’d get tired and give up. This is such a great way to ease into running and build up your stamina. Have also recommended this to friends who also are runners now! Definitely recommend for anyone who is a beginner.

  • Inference Engine Needs Tweaking

    Good app overall, but they need a 7-10 point effort scale post run for the machine learning. There needs to be a point in between “challenging” and “too hard” for moderate training tweaks. Also, it should ask for personal conditions following a run, like physical health, sickness, cramps, etc to inform on its model. That will help inform on the model. For example, I’m battling a wicked cold and was struggling for breath - yes, it was too hard, but it’s also because, in part, I was sick. Overall, good app. Can be a great app with a few methodology tweaks. EDIT: “Optimization” is a misnomer. It doesn’t tweak the plan, it adds another run. If you want to improve this, charge a bit more and then enable more customization - instead of 8 weeks, offer 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, & 16 week training regimens. Tweak the duration and intensity based on weight, age, and normal exercise patterns. Come to think of it, maybe I’ll just build my own app.

    I’ve been faithfully using this app 3x a week to help me build endurance, confidence and PATIENCE with running. I incorporate the app on the days I can’t make it to the gym and it’s been doing wonders to my fitness journey. I was never a running type and never thought I could run comfortably without feeling I would faint haha but this app helped me build up my ability to withstand cardio. Not only can I run without losing my breath, I can also tackle the stairmaster for 20 min without giving up. Don’t think just do it!
