I canceled Norton family parental control three years ago when my kids turned to adults. I am still receiving Regarding an activity on three computers these computer computers, no longer exist. Norton’s only solution is to log into your Norton family account And change the settings. I canceled the subscription three years ago, so I no longer have a Norton And there is no way to cancel these stupid emails coming up twice a month!

Works sometimes and other times it does not work. Although I have custom settings on what category to block and not to block, it sometimes blocks a category that should not be blocked

if i could give this negative stars, i would. this app has given me so many issues. sometimes it takes my apps even when my parents have it set for them to not be taken, and i just sit there and have to disable my account for norton and whatever. it’s such a pain. if you love your child and don’t want them to hate you don’t buy this app. it has made me so angry to the point i pull my hair out and throw my phone. it also turns my vpn off and my location and web protector at random times and i get in trouble for it when it wasn’t even me. this app has quite literally ruined me and my friendships because all of my friends will have fun in their phone and i just have this app that does absolutely NOTHING for the human race. whoever created this is obviously somebody who hates life and wants to put kids into a serious depression and isolation. i really hope you make a good decision and decide not to buy this app because it’s a waste of money and the most pointless thing ever. are you going to go to your grave and be like “man, i’m really happy i put restrictions on my teens phone.”? no. you’re not. so don’t buy this app. for your sake and your child’s sake.

I’m a technically savvy person and find this app difficult to understand. I’ve set specific rules around websites and apps that are allowed. In spite of the specificity, the app blocks everything. In the end I have to either enable supervision or disable supervision to keep any parental control.

My goal was to keep a check on my kid was doing on his laptop. After some time Norton monitoring just quit working or my 12 year old figured out how to get around Norton. Even when it was working it was too clumsy to use it.

  • All or nothing without app control

I work in IT working with managed devices so I know what’s possible, and Norton has implemented nothing in terms of control in this app. When the time limit expires, all apps are deleted from the device. When the the allow time starts, the apps are rewarded to the Home Screen in alphabetical order and without any folder organization. This was very upsetting to the child. Worse though is that there is no way to whitelist an app to allow it to run after time expires. So apps used for sleep, sleep tracking, glucose monitoring, etc. are totally gone with no way to allow their use.
  • Lot of improvement required to block the apps and websites
