HEOS makes it easy to listen to their curated media selection and hard to listen to my own stash of tunes….. it’s like a walled garden!

Understanding the app will take a little bit of time. But once you’ve mastered all of the various configurations, particularly if you have a multi room set up, this thing is awesome.

This app is so clunky. Even after this major overhaul, it still has so many issues. Come on Denon…

This app was just marginally OK with our Marantz system. After updates, it got much worse. It is difficult to find how to control rooms and even shut the system off when you are already listening to music. I will never buy another system that is controlled by HEOS.

i have both speaker set to come on at same time. only one comes on and it took me 40 mins to get second speaker working. Then something glitched and one speaker played about 2 seconds behind the other! I wish Crutchfield never recommended these denon speakers to me. i will have to wire them up and us it that way. Take time , extra effort and money now.🙄

Latest Apple update kills my app, can’t connect to Heos Drive. Deleted app, reset Heos, no luck. My 12 year old IPhone I keep as a spare connects fine, but not IPhone 14 or IPad.

Did not think it could be done, but you did it. Hire some guys from WIIM. Pick 10 of your engineers every week and, in a public place, dunk their heads in tubs of ice water 10 times fast in rapid succession. Keep them employed at Denon, however. No one wants them to leave you & end up working at some critical place, like NASA.

My Heos app quit communicating with Pandora. App has no customer service to troubleshoot. It makes the app useless.

  • Don't do it

New version is cluttered with suggestions on the home page which are of no interest to me whatsoever. I stream from a server but I am forced to view all sorts of radio or podcasts or other useless options. Worse, when viewing the queue it no longer shows track time. Never thought of this as a feature but rather basic functionality and now it's gone. Worse still, the app hijacks the volume control. If my ipad volume is all the way down and I switch to the app, it raises the device volume even if I don't change the app volume. This is a bug. And the volume in the app no longer has a value. Used to set it at 20 or 50 or whatever ... Now it's just 'volume dot about a third of the way up'. It's lousy. Don't upgrade. Just don't.
