    This app works well when I use it. But I hate how I constantly have to turn off push notifications. I turn them off, then a week or two later they’re back on. I don’t care about $5 off ramen when it’s 8:30am. Please stop turning notifications on by yourself. I’m aware I can turn them off in my phone settings, but then I have to turn them back on every time I want to use DD. Annoying.

    Door Dash is a seemless,worry-free way for me to love my grown babies from far away. It’s also eliminates all the stress when traveling. We received an incorrect order while staying at a hotel. The process to rectify this was simple and prompt.

    It’s frustrating to be misled when the delivery fee on the homepage doesn’t reflect the delivery fee at checkout i often see a delivery fee on the homepage say $0.99 but at checkout it’s $3+. And the ones I’m complaining about do not say “$0.99 delivery fee on $40+” like some do. It will say $0.99 but at checkout it’s almost $4. Feels like false advertising. And it’s something I didn’t see happening on the app before. And even with $0 delivery fees, the other fees seem to increase. Prices on the app and in store prices are also vastly different. Using delivery services like door dash are convenient and I relied on them when I was unable to shop in person. However, with all the additional fees and scummy delivery fee ya tactics, it’s not worth it anymore. I hope they fix that.

    Update: Adding to my original one star below. When you select a time slot for delivery, the app just tells dashers to “deliver by” rather than the specified time slot (I have confirmed this via multiple dashers). So, dashers are still incentivized to deliver asap. Today, for instance, my order was delivered 40 minutes early, and is now just waiting on my porch for me to get home. If the restaurant and dasher are going to be working as fast as possible, DoorDash shouldn’t even be sending out the order until it’s closer to the scheduled time slot. This needs to be fixed. —————————————————— Multiple times we have had the app somehow delete the notes I have left for food adjustments. We have dietary restrictions, so when we get the food we are left with a meal we have paid for and cannot eat.
