  • PLEASE ADD FEATURE

I’d give this app 6 stars if they would add one feature: The ability to choose which category a recipe goes into before adding the recipe to the app. Besides that, this app is a game changer. Especially for people with ADHD (me). I LOVE the cook mode. More specifically, I love being able to toggle back and forth between the cooking instructions and the ingredients and being able to check them off as you go.

  • Beautiful & Simple app (want a few more features)

A beautiful and simple app that I find much more pleasurable to use than Paprika. A few upgrades I would like in the future include: nested tags, search multiple tags at a time, categories (aka “tags”) menu collapses every time you select one so you have to open it again and scroll through all your non-nested tags to select another one. I would definitely pay more for this app for more frequent updates. Seeing how much more frequently his Reeder app gets updated, I would happily pay the $10/year for this app to get the same treatment (or a $50-$70 lifetime).

Perfect for a home chef! I’m so glad I found this app and that I never have to go back to Pinterest for storing my recipes. I can easily capture recipes from a variety of websites, and can add them manually as well. I had the apps for both iOS and MacOS. I recently switched from a Mac to PC and unfortunately now only have Mela on my phone/iPad, and I really miss the functionality of using it on my desktop. Please make a browser/PC version!! 🥲

This app does what I wish Pestle did which is have a great meal planning feature which separates Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner for calendar blocking. I even appreciate the small widget which looks amazing. The only thing this app lacks is the Start Cooking feature that Pestle has which is amazing. This app does it in a barebones way.

This is my go to app for all my recipes. I’m extremely happy with it. I use two iPads one I keep in the kitchen, the other I use for shopping. What is very! nice is that changes made in one iPad automatically updates the other, great feature. Very easy to find recipes, it is intuitive.

  • SEARCH BAR!!!

Why do I have to scroll alllllllll the way back to the top to find the search bar again? It should be static at the top of the recipe lists. This is my only real complaint but it’s super annoying because I have 100s of recipes.
