Keep control of your news reading with Reeder Classic, RSS reader and read later client in one app, now with support for iCloud syncing. FEEDS Sync all your feeds and articles with iCloud. Reeder Classic comes with a built-in RSS/Feeds service which will keep everything in sync on all your devices. Of course, this is optional. You can still just use one of the many third-party services supported by Reeder or just RSS (without sync). READ LATER This is Reeder's built-in read later service which stores all your data securely in iCloud. A sharing extension allows you to add links from outside of Reeder. BIONIC READING A higher dimension of reading. With Bionic Reading you read texts with more focus, awareness, and sustainability. Read more about Bionic Reading at bionic-reading.com. MARK AS READ ON SCROLL With version 5, Reeder finally supports marking items as read while scrolling. Off by default, this can be enabled on a per-account basis. READER VIEW Enter Reader View (for feed items and read later links that support this) for a clutter-free reading experience directly in Reeder's article viewer. You can enable "Automatic Reader View" on a per-feed basis to always load items of a feed with Reader View. SUPPORTED THIRD-PARTY SERVICES Feedbin, Feedly, FeedHQ, NewsBlur, The Old Reader, Inoreader, BazQux Reader, FreshRSS, Instapaper and Pocket.

  • I love this app

I love this app and use it just about every day. I love the way it looks, I love the way it’s laid out and, I love the entire way that it works. Please update it for Tahoe. I don’t care if I need to pay more for it. I just want it to work the way it used to with the gestures/swiping and everything.
  • Please keep developing it!

I really love Reeder - it’s one of the best RSS apps I’ve used. However, it hasn’t been updated in several months, and it doesn’t seem to work well with macOS Tahoe. I’m starting to worry that it might be abandoned, which would be a real loss.
  • The app is the best non-subscription RSS reader but the gestures no longer work on the Mac app.

The gestures continue to work on the other devices.

With the new MacOS, there is certain functionality lost from Reeder Classic, including swiping ability to mark stories as read, unread, etc. The app continues to work find on iOS 26. Please update soon!

Reached out to the developer and was ignored. Doesn’t look like this will be fixed, so move on folks.
  • macOS Tahoe broke it

macOS Tahoe broke it in multiple ways — for example, two-finger swipes left and right to change columns/panes no longer work. It’s abandonware now and has been for a while, so I don’t expect it to be fixed, but you have been warned.
  • Was good…..

LONG time user of this app, both on Mac and on iOS. I use it with Newblur.com. Over the last year, it has been having LOTS of issues on Mac fetching new articles. On iOS, no problem. Mac…..it frequently finds nothing at all. I think I’m going to have to retire it for Unread or something.
  • Good RSS reader

Positives: The design is great, and the app has been very stable and buttery smooth. The feature set is ok. Negatives: Not nearly as customizable as I would like, which is frustrating. Fiery Feeds is better in this respect. Also, the developer of Reeder is totally unresponsive which is very disappointing.
  • Swipe to see article not working

Hey Silvio, the swipe to see article doesn’t work on MacOS 26, so there’s no way to see an article in the in-app browser.
  • Solid App, but YouTube videos cause crashes

This app has been one of my favorites for years, but over the last 1-2, any feed with a YouTube player almost always crashes upon hitting play.
