Description

Team up and take down the opposition in Pokémon’s first 5-on-5 strategic team battle game! Join Trainers from around the world as they head for Aeos Island to compete in Unite Battles! In Unite Battles, Trainers face off in 5-on-5 team battles to see who can score the most points within the allotted time. Teamwork is key as you and your teammates defeat wild Pokémon, level up, evolve your own Pokémon, and work to prevent the opposing team from scoring points. Put your teamwork to the test, and take home the win! Key Features: • BATTLE IN STYLE: Take to the field while looking your best in Holowear! Thanks to a special technology developed using Aeos energy, Trainers can deck out their Pokémon in a variety of holographic outfits—with new styles arriving regularly! • UNITE MOVES: Unleash the true power of your Pokémon with Unite Moves! Leverage these all-new Pokémon moves, which are only possible while in Unite Battles, and turn the tide of even the direst situations. • RANK UP: Looking to prove how skilled you are? Participate in ranked matches, and earn points as you climb up the global leaderboard! • COMMUNICATION IS KEY: Even the most-skilled Trainers recognize how important communication is to their team’s success. Leverage signals, quick-chat messages, and—for the first time in a Pokémon title—voice chat to communicate and stay in sync with your team. • CROSS-PLATFORM PLAY: Challenge Trainers from around the world to Unite Battles on the Nintendo Switch™ system or on a compatible mobile device thanks to cross-platform support. Trainers may use their Pokémon Trainer Club account or Nintendo Account on both Nintendo Switch and mobile to easily keep their progress synced between devices. • New update is bad

Loved playing this game until the recent update. Now this is just pay to play. I was saving up my coins to get a new license, now all that work is wasted. And it’s dumb because you don’t even get to choose which license you get. Otherwise, it’s a fun game if you have good Pokemon. But I’m not coming back until the update changes.

TLDR;Matchmaking sucks, gameplay is stale, the game is pay-to-win, and it’s riddled with fake five stars. Hi, back because my old comment seems to have been deleted? Anywho, the game is a D- overall, as everyone else on multiplayer acts like they’ve never seen a Pokémon before. Solo play sucks, since at around level 3 your teammates suddenly suck at the game (They likely do this because there is nothing distinctly special about the “champions”). And offline mode is way too easy, if you feel like you’re losing, you can go AFK and your team will still win. The boost amulets suck, as you only use one attack stat, so you could always equip amulets that lower the attack stat you don’t use. And you can buy amulets with purchasable in-game currency, also technically making it pay to win. The home page is obnoxious, every time I open the game it has 50 things it wants me to check out, each one giving the minimum possible amount of in-game currency, or doing practically nothing. The Pokémon become stale, unless you grind for like a month straight or pay for them. And it’s easy to see which Pokémon are the best. For example Decidueye (a personal favorite) is busted. And the review page is filled to the brim with fake reviews. A lot of 5 star reviews are begging (@ThunderQueen917), being as generic as possible (@DUDE43216), explaining the game (@mrbellibolt), or are illegible (@DairyAnne Cremora).
  • Shameless money grab

Poorly designed and clearly given no thought for player longevity. The focus is only on microtransactions, punishing F2P
  • Please read, creators AND if you’re buying the game.

Hi, I am a a fan of is game, but ever since the new update things have changed for me. And I hardly write reviews like this, but I had to say something. In the game Pokémon unite, the point of the game is to choose a Pokémon in battle in a game. And the thing I liked about it is that the way you could buy more Pokémon is by getting coins from battling. One day when I realized there was a new update. And I’ve been saving up coins so I went to the shop. But my heart dropped when I saw that all the coin prices has been switched to gems. And if you don’t know what that is it’s like coins, but instead of playing to get it you use your real money. And before you use that to get like clothes for your Pokémon, and I thought that was OK because it doesn’t enhance your game and it’s kind of good for people who have a little money to burn off (although I think you could just save it on something else) but now the only way to get Pokémon is by using that, which I think is really unfair to some people. And especially beginners cause you only get like that beginner Pokémon, and then you have to buy the rest. So I kindly ask for you to switch it back so it’s coins again, and I’m sure a lot of people would agree. Thank you for reading this and and I hope you apply to it.
  • Minor new bug that needs fixing. Only temporary I hope.

Okay Ive been playing for a few weeks now and I love it! But the new update seems to be causing some problems and I don’t know if it’s just me or it’s happening with other people! I just wanted to let you know about it just so nobody quits playing because of this! So when I try and enter the game it keeps saying I can’t enter due to bad internet. But I have gone to places with internet and it won’t work. This started the same time the update happened! I’ve tried over 20 places with internet and it won’t work. I’ve tried it multiple times and nothing. My house has extremely great internet so I know it’s not the internet. Just thought I’d let you know about it! Hope you can fix it and thank you!! Otherwise fantastic game and I’ll keep playing and wait for the fixes!🥺😔❤️🙏🏻👍🏻

The new update brings a lot of pay to win mechanics. This game always had several predatory mechanics, but with this new update they crossed the limit. The new update it’s extremely toxic against new players. Now you can’t even play the Pokémon you want unless you bought him with real money and the keep introducing new Pokémon that can easily win a 1vs5 and that are only obtainable with the premium currency, and of course they don’t nerf them until one they are obtainable with the free to play currency
