  • Login Mess

As always Nintendo does something really weird and makes this app less useful than just going to the website. The issue is that it seemingly randomly opens a web page where you are not logged in — despite being logged in to the app. Nintendo needs to hire someone to streamline all of their online services. Clearly this skill set does not exist within the company.

This app is great and I see what they were thinking with this app! But I think the Nintendo Switch app and the Nintendo Store app should be combined into one app!
  • This is just a web store

The existence of this app doesn’t make total sense. It just pushes me out to the web store. The ONLY reason I can think of this is so that Nintendo doesn’t have to pay Apple the App Store fees if we were purchasing content directly through the app instead of the web store. Great for Nintendo, but lacking experience for the consumer.
  • Pointless App

This app is such trash. It’s a storefront that opens their website. Might as well just bookmark the website if it’s that important to you, this app is pointless.
  • Kinda lackluster but I’m glad I can see playtimes better

It’s a web based shop which is kinda lazy and redundant for an app. If it just takes me to the site, what’s the point? Why not just go to the website??? I also wish more of these apps were consolidated, Nintendo u got like 5 apps now that could easily be just 2 or 3.

I have an iphone 15 running ios26 now and every time i open the app and sign in it just immediately crashes. nothing i can do and not much else to try, only way i could get in was continuing not signed in but that takes most of the features :(
  • Just the website

Provides some merit, with information about relevance of titles (like what directs games were featured in), but when selecting a specific game it just opens the website. Helpful if you already had it downloaded for whatever reason but no reason to download for yourself.

Overall it is good and finally able to skip the website. I would highly recommend your store to support the Apple Wallet since you are on IOS now. I hate to enter the card infor or have your site to store the card.
  • A totally outdated app

As will all other nintendo apps, this one is straight from 2008: no iPad support, no liquid glass, a lot of web content. We can perfectly use our web browsers instead.
