This game is much better than the original. First of all, Leaf Tokens are much easier to get, and the prices for special clothing is a lot lower. Complete Tickets are also a great feature for getting special items when it is not in season. And lastly, the Wi-Fi!🤯 Not having to play it with Wi-Fi is much, much better than what the original offers. However, sometimes the game freezes and just kicks me out and I have to log back in. So fix that, but otherwise I love the game!

Ever since I can remember, I used to loveee playing animal crossing when I was younger. Until I found it was being stopped to be here, I was so sad. When I saw the price, I immediately thought: is this worth it?? When I soon had enough money to buy the app, I tried downloading my data from the original pocket camp to the complete, but it didn’t download. I tried again, didn’t download. I kept doing it again and again, but I can’t download!!! The pocket camp said i downloaded it, but complete says now I can’t download my data anymore. Do I have to restart? This made me furious. I don’t even know if this game was worth $20. I better be able to get my data back.. 😢

AC Pocket Camp Complete was my first experience with Animal Crossing. After playing it for about 4 months, I was having so much fun and enjoyed it so much that I was drawn into investigating the rest of the Animal Crossing world. After just a short time with this game, I bought my first Nintendo. I couldn’t even wait the short time for the Switch 2 to release, I had to have my Switch 1 asap! Now my biggest problem is dividing my free time between AC Pocket Camp Complete and AC New Horizons! (Harder than you think! 😅) The only things I would want to improve are allowing the animals to recognize and celebrate your birthday, and adding a continuous backup option, such as iCloud or something similar. This game is far too valuable to risk losing, I would be devastated! THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS GAME!

Before transferring my data it warned me that it would be deleted if i ever deleted the app. Now that it’s transferred, I’m stuck on the title screen??? What should i even do if i can’t redownload the app?

I love the pocket camp as when I get bored in New Horizons I would switch back over to pocket camp so I found it worth the $20. I like that I don’t need to buy a monthly subscription as well. The only thing that makes a HUGE difference is the fact that I can’t add friends from all over the world and that was my favorite part :( visiting campsites also gave me big inspirations as well. I don’t really have anyone to add either because most of my friends aren’t so in love with the game that they’d spend $20 on the app like I did. I think that was one of the traits about Pocket Camp that made it so fun to play to begin with. I really hope you guys decide to incorporate it back into this version.
  • Pay $20 or lose your stuff.

Looks like since I have 2 pocket camp accounts. I bought this from one of them, and now realizing, by the end of May, my other 3 year old account is being held hostage, either pay $20 before the end of May or bye bye progress. Looks like I have no choice. Like you should’ve at-least leave my old progress alone until I buy it. Hope you enjoy my $10 + $20 I’m gonna pay. I wish Animal Crossing was own by someone else 😮‍💨 I mean it. Deleting everything if I don’t pay?! Wow, what a dihh move. I love Animal Crossing and can call myself a huge fan and bought stuff, *not directly from Nintendo cause I don’t like them*, but I would never respect the company behind Animal Crossing. Can’t wait for the new Animal Crossing though. ❤️ It’s gonna be lit 🔥 😼 Plus, y’all discontinued MarioKart mobile and it’s free?! Why Animal Crossing players forced to pay then?😤
  • Does not save

While I initially appreciated that Nintendo was giving its players the opportunity to continue playing this game after they decided to cease supporting it, I now regret paying $10 for it (there was a discounted price offered to players when they first transitioned to Complete). I’m not sure why they kept the Friends feature when there are no updates to my Friends’ cards and they seem forever frozen in Halloween / Christmas attire when the original game ended. I only realized my Friends’ cards weren’t being updated because the only in-game friend that I know irl was surprised to see her avatar and level didn’t reflect her recent changes. This actually makes looking at my Friends’ cards pretty depressing as it’s a constant reminder that the game is actually dead and this is just a prolonged goodbye as I can’t bring myself to take it off life support. But the worst part that makes me regret purchasing this is the fact that it no longer saves any changes to your account to the cloud so that you can redownload your most recent data to other devices. I recently purchased a new device and downloaded Complete only to discover that it didn’t save any of the updates I made over the past 6 months. I realize that Nintendo is trying to phase out Animal Crossing Pocket, but I don’t understand why it’s so difficult on their part to allow us to backup our data. Now I wish I had just cut my ties to this game when they announced they were ending it rather than continue this depressing goodbye.
