  • Customer service has zero honesty, DEAD game

This is probably my biggest complaint which makes this game, boring in the long run and unplayable. Once the server ages they stop sending new players to the server, as players quit the game the population declines and you experience less and less pvp to the point that all progress and fun in the game comes to a standstill. Depending on the server, somewhere between 2 months and up to one year the game is no longer fun because of this major error in the development. It’s even worse considering you spent money and then it’s all for the game just to die. I blame poor execution and poor game development. There are way more fun games out there that can last for years compared to this tombstone.

Apparently this is a common problem with this games - Bullying by whales. Which is a big problem in our server. The leader of the bully alliance has admitted he wants to force smaller players out, thereby reducing the number of members - which will force Scopely into another server merger situation. Makes sense if you are an arrogant, big spender, but most of us like(ed) the game, before game updates were introduced that seemed to support bullying over fun. You can fix this if you choose. Suggested Fixes: Recommend anyone who does not have a big wallet, don’t bother - you will be targeted. IN OTHER WORDS, DON’T DOWNLOAD. After reaching a certain level, force them into their own server(s). They can still join cross-server wars, but then they go away. Open a new server and publish an offer for people under 45 or so can join. Maybe even ones for 35 and lower. Make it easier for people to leave servers. You have some terrific people playing the game and you have arrogant snakes playing as well. Doubtful anyone will read this, but I hope you do and digest it.

Game encourages you to attack players 20 levels below you. They have no real way to defend themselves. Game constantly crashes, and hasn’t gotten better over the last couple of years.

I have played this game since day 1 of it’s official launch. And daily played it ever since. 1) Have been free to play throughout, have not made a single in game purchase nor have I received any packs from content creators. 2) Aside from changes in ownership, extreme focus on micro-transactions by new owners (not very micro, mind you), and continued mobile instability issues ever since they Launched cross device play… the one thing that keeps me around is my online game friends from over 5.5 years to newer ones. 3) Highly addictive. Time spent made up for not spending a dime. Can fracture personal relationships. 4) It’s been getting more and more difficult to progress due to officer sourcing and significant paywalls. 5) I have overstayed at Ops 49 by several months due to resource and material acquisition difficulties 6) I need to find a way to drastically reduce my play time and do more IRL TL;DR If you have even a whiff of addictive tendencies, don’t start playing 🤣

Game has become one sided. Only big spenders enjoy it now. It was always to time consuming but now smaller players are just targets for the spenders. Highly discourage anyone from joining. Scopely very unresponsive to any issues smaller player may have. Not worth your time or effort!

For a few months now, I have been denied the ability of a big aspect of this game…and it is cascading. When I report it, all I get is a template, “Thank you for letting us know. We understand the inconvenience. We will tell our developers. Feel free to message us.” And then close the conversation…I give them a couple of weeks, reopen another “ticket” to get an update and I get the same response. FOR MONTHS! I don’t spend as much as some but more than I should and if any other business was ran this way, they would be out of business.

Ironically, this game is filled with right-wing players who love to complain about everything that Star Trek stands for. If you're looking for your daily dose of crazy MAGA Hate Speech, this is the game for you.
  • Decent Game but NOT Free

The game is decent, but you have to pay for upgrades or you won’t have any fun. The game encourages bullying behavior from people who put a lot of money into it. if you have a lot of cash and time you could be competitive. The developer doesn’t do a lot of quality control and doesn’t listen to their customer feedback.
