  • The worst game company

The game has just turned into a chore. Prices going up because they don’t wanna admit the profits they made were because of Covid and are trying to match that number.

I like this game but I don’t like some things about it. When I look in the milestones for new characters there are no shards or orb fragments or anything to get the character. And for moonstone’s event it came in very late. This game can be improved.

If you like spending thousands of dollars for a company to hate you for it, then this game is for you. But if you like to experiment with characters then don’t bother. It is a complete pay to play game. And they punish experimentation. They make it impossible for new players to get characters unless your spend all your money. You don’t have to believe me, just go on line and you can see how much the player hate it. They just keep playing because they are actually addicted. Shame on you for ruining marvel for me.

Scopely is actively trying to destroy the easiest IP to work with ever. All of the month long events, limit restrictions, deaf Community Managers, and what can only be called whalestone rewards (Ie Pay to Win) mechanics are just filthy. I expect that any company wants to make money I’m not so tone deaf to not understand that. However, they have made the screen time levels far above what any sane person would want to spend on a game. Just wait for Lord of the Rings Hero’s of middle Earth to global launch and enjoy a hero collector that at least won’t be after all of your time and money from the start.
  • Predatory game

Despite your Marvel fandom and “good reviews and ratings,” do not play this game. Scopely has opted for more predatory tactics to get your money. It’s slowly evolved into a heavy oriented play-2-win style. Scopely only cares about your money. Not your entertainment or the overall game mechanics or fairness. Please skip and find a different Marvel game or another other non-Scopely game.
  • Great Game, Bugs Plenty but Developer Willing To Show Efforts

Great game for marvel fans, has bugs here and there but developer is working actively to fix. Communication from them is good and keeps players informed of progress Update 09/15/2022 The game has had bugs being introduced with each new event they run. These bugs hurt player progress and are not even addressed by the devs. If a bug benefits the player, they manage to correct it within minutes but if it doesn’t benefit the player, they take week/months to fix. They even said with the latest update they fixed disrupt bug of Adam Warlock, but it didn’t fix anything. The devs only care about releasing new characters and events to allow the big spenders to blow money on the game lining the devs greedy wallets, they clearly have no intention of fixing the game at all. Avoid this game at all costs, too much time sink for mobile game and too much cost to really keep up. You can’t play your way, devs dictate who you build now, sell you solutions to problems they create, and have zero communication with the players. We have waited 4 months for gambit compensation but no update still, among the 150+ bugs in the game. Don’t support Scopely and their greed until they fix this game. Update 03/27/2023 The game still has most of the bugs mentioned above, further monetization of the game by the developer through accelerated pack offers $100 each to help new players catch up but all the teams are basically old and useless, and the developer continues to make changes in the fly to the events in game if they notice too many players achieving certain thresholds without spending money. Stay away from this game if your new player and if you do play, beware FOMO and this developers scum money driven tactics.
  • Designed for heavy spenders

Character releases and weekly/monthly events design is built to be maxed or even marginally completed by people who spend $100s of dollars a month. You CAN f2p this, but be prepared to NEVER unlock the best characters, or ever do well. Additionally, new characters are frequently bugged, and sometimes they never bother to fix them.
  • So many issues.

Someone call an exterminator, ‘cause this app is full of bugs! Played over 500 days. There are just constant issues arising regularly. Sometimes new ones for days on end. Some are impacting your game progress and others are game-breaking entirely. And you know, bugs that negatively impact the player are resolved when Scopely gets around to it. But any bugs in the player’s favor are fixed immediately. Obviously they have the ability to fix their game but choose otherwise. I think that tells you everything you need to know about how Scopely treats their customers/players and the app itself.
