When signing in to the app after entering my user name it will send a code to my phone, however; once I enter the code there is no way to proceed with the login process. There is no “next, go, or return” and the app does not advance on its own. It is like it locks up.

Very difficult to pull up daily data from over a year ago. You used to be able to select the year, month, then day. Now you are given the current month, and you have to click the back arrow to cycle through the months one at a time. My business is very seasonal, so I frequently like to look up data from a specific day or holiday weekend and compare it over the last several years. Now if I want to look up a date 5 years ago, I have to click the month arrow 60 times, while it moves up and down with the calendar. Extremely frustrating. I will change the review if this gets fixed.

The first couple of days I thought the app was fantastic. Then it started freezing up on a page loading screen. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. But it would only work a couple of times and then start doing it again.

UPDATE: Still no fixes, I just want to revert to version before update, waiting…… It was helpful for a quick check of sales comparisons but now it compares my current sales for the day to the entire day’s sales for previous week. Makes it look like we are always far under where we should be. I also have to swipe the app away to get it to refresh. This started happening after the latest upgrade. It was fine before.
  • Stop fixing things that aren’t broken, please!

Why do they keep doing this? Dashboard was fine, and then a couple years ago they completely destroyed it over night. Everyone freaked out, so they rolled it back. Now they’ve done it again with this most recent update, albeit to a lesser degree. -Hour-by-hour comparisons with same day last year now stop at the hour it currently is, so you can’t quickly extrapolate from prior data expected business, instead having to manually go back to last year. -Sales totals when looking at monthly/weekly/daily/hourly sales are no longer round numbers: instead of 10k, 20k etc, it now says e.g., 42k, 84k, .13m” (In what world is .13m clearer than just saying $126k??) or even better, the left side could have round number thresholds based on sales ranges like before… if they want to show actual specific numbers, maybe press and hold on the bar for, for example, January, and the total pops up? Write the total within the bar? Above it? Is it bored engineers? The entire platform suffers from this problem. Things are fine; sellers have spent time learning how to navigate and utilize the functions they need, and using the platform has finally become muscle memory. And then out of nowhere an update is pushed through and things are in different places (team data, tax info, benefits and payment profiles for example), functionality has changed, and features we’ve gotten used to are now paywalled (sending coupons through feedback DMs comes to mind). Meanwhile payroll has been unusably slow for YEARS, to the point that my browser says “this page appears to be unresponsive” every time I try to advance to the next page while running payroll, and multiple reps confirm they’re aware of the problem, but it never gets fixed. Give us an option to revert to legacy mode or at least open beta test these changes. I’m so tired of having to relearn how to navigate this platform and its associated apps every 6 months.
  • Why reduce functions?

Used to be great— now they’ve taken away the view that shows Taxes, Tips, and Payments by Source (Cash/Credit/Gift Card)!

Stays frozen on the main screen, nothing loaded. Waste of time.

I’ve been using Square for staff scheduling, but it’s only accessible in its full capacity on the desktop site, which is incredibly inconvenient. While they offer a separate app for creating shifts, it doesn’t compare to the functionality of the desktop version. Square has even advertised the option to “request an app version,” so I was excited when this app launched, hoping it would solve those issues. Unfortunately, every time I log in, the dashboard won’t load, and the screen is completely unresponsive. I’ve deleted and redownloaded the app multiple times with no luck. Please fix these issues so this app can finally deliver on its much-needed purpose

I can’t approve time off requests. To access time off requests you have to click the notification bell, but the bell doesn’t indicate that any notifications are there so you would just have to check randomly. Doesn’t make sense. The only app you can approve time off requests through right now is Square Team. Not great having to have Square Team, Square, and now Dashboard just to get everything done.
