Kids App Qustodio is the companion app to Qustodio Parental Control App. Please only download this app to a device being used by a child or teen. How to get started 1. Download the Qustodio Parental Control App onto your own device (usually your mobile phone or laptop). 2. Then download this Kids App Qustodio onto any of your child’s devices you want to monitor. 3. Together, the two apps allow you to seamlessly manage your child’s daily screen time allowance on linked mobile, tablet, or desktop devices. Features include: • Daily screen time limits set by the Parent App. • Website, search and app usage monitoring on the child’s device. • Website blocking and category blocking (block games, porn, gambling, and lockout unwanted content) on the child’s device • Location tracking of the child's device • Safe search on the child’s device • Unsupported browser blocking on the child’s device • Advanced reporting provided to parents • Real-time alerts sent to parents Kids App Qustodio for iOS and macOS is password protected and cannot be uninstalled from a child’s device without parental permission. Instructions for installing, uninstalling, and configuring are on our help page. - When connecting to the internet a VPN symbol will appear on the top of the screen. The VPN connection can be disabled temporarily when needed in the Family Portal or by logging into the Kids App Qustodio on your kids' device. - Continued use of GPS running in the background for the Family Locator feature can dramatically decrease battery life.

    It really doesn’t help it honestly breaks trust and also kinda makes me swear more :/ [scratch that, it makes me swear A LOT more] also I easily removed it not really good for protection literally everything is blocked by it, if i find something better ill add it to this but yea my conclusion is don’t buy it the rating says everything like 2.2 is a compliment to it ngl [Edit: literally any other app ALSO my parents should be able to trust me not just add a full on {WALL BC YOU DON’T TRUST YOUR CHILD} Anyways i think thats all wait nvm there also a lot of bugs, now that’s everything. [Sorry for the long paragraph]

    This app is absolutely horrible. Disables youtube comments, disables football/soccer and maybe other sports live, disables appropriate videos on youtube, those are the main reasons. For now, these are there only restrictions I have found. I will continue investigating. Absolutely horrible. I wouldn’t recommend installing it, no one deserves this app, it’s just horrible. We used to use the Apple Screen time, which was way better. But my Mom decided to get this app. I tried everything to delete this literal app, but couldn’t. This is one reason why I don’t really like AI. It can be used for bad things and good things. You are using it for a bad thing. One day I told AI to generate Roblox HQ with Burger King, Mcdonalds and KFC. It was way funner. That’s a good thing to use AI. For some people, it can cause Anxiety and Mental Problems. Terrible app. Imagine you are reading an article, and in the middle of nothing it blocks. One of a quadrillion reasons why I hate Screen time apps. It does what it’s supposed to do, but it’s wrong to give kids time limit.

    Ok hear me out i know i said that kids keep giving this app bad reviews. But honestly whats so important about turning off wifi. Messages and Facetime works perfectly fine. But the other problem is that they can pass their screen time. A few apps work perfectly fine even if their time limit ENDS!!! So my kids can still play without any screen time. Games like Melon Playground, Geometry Dash and Minecraft still work perfectly!!! Even Brawl Stars which shouldn’t work without wifi BUT IT STILL WORKS PERFECTLY!!!!! The only reason why I give it 1 stars its that they can atleast explain to their friends why they HANG UP!!! Because if your time limit ends it HANGS UP on any call. And the other reason is that they can send messages to me even though their time limit ended. In fact actually the app store should add half a star so i can rate it 0.5 since this app is so BAD!!!

    This app does what it is supposed to. That simple. It protects children on the internet. My only critique? It can act somewhat laggy sometimes and may not respond to parents adding more time to the app, but not reliably. It works the majority of the time. Most of the reviews are just angry tweens. Good app.

    This app is absolutely awful, it took my child less than three hours to uninstall. The app also has no real way to stop this other than saying that the app is needed. I would not recommend to any parent trying to create parental controls on their child’s devices.

  • It got my phone stuck

    This app essentially soft-locked my phone. Because it turns off internet connection I could barely load anything, even settings. (That may also be because my phone is so old.) So then my apple restrictions kick in because my parents installed both. So now, I can’t go into the Qustodio app to request/add more time. I can’t do anything; text, call, or any other basic services. So I get stuck with a useless piece of metal until BOTH restrictions turn off.

    Hi I am 12 years old and my parents recently got this app for me and the first thing that comes to my mind when I think about this app is hate. I know my parents concern for my online presence might be high, but all this does for your child is build trust issues. There are plenty of other ways to monitor your child’s devices other than this. It’s not just the trust issues that does it, it makes devices so much more laggier after downloading. My iPad and phone used to be fine before this, but now, it feels like after every single digital movement I make on my device, it feels like it’s literally about to overheat. I’m not joking when I say that. In conclusion, please don’t get this it’s not worth it at all.
