It’s like a remote control for Zwift that you can use pre-ride, during your ride, and post-ride. Zwift Companion is a great place to plan your next activity. With all the events in one place and thousands to choose from, you're sure to discover like-minded athletes who want to get fit together. You can also find and join clubs on Zwift Companion. You'll see rides chosen specifically for you based on your preferences, fitness level, and upcoming events. You can even set reminders, so you're never late for a ride. You'll also find a bunch of cool information on Zwift Companion's home screen, like the number of people currently Zwifting, as well as any friends or contacts you're following. Have Zwift equipment? You can also update the firmware with the Companion app. DURING YOUR RIDE With Zwift Companion, you can send RideOns, text with other Zwifters, bang U-Turns, choose between route options, and more. You can also adjust the resistance of your trainer on the fly during structured workouts, to increase or decrease intensity.     This is a great app for Zwift. I enjoy being able to track my progress, events, and what others are up too. Very smooth and runs without issues. Only suggestion is being able to look at and sign up for training plans. They aren’t on the app at all and only able to be viewed on the Zwift game itself.

  • Apple Watch Pairing Issues

    Apple Watch pairing issues, like several others. I’ll update my review when it gets fixed. I restarted all the devices and apps, trying to get it to work. It had been about a week since I last rode and I had no issues then. I have a Wahoo heart rate strap, but it randomly drops 15-25 BPM for a while, then jumps back up. I haven’t been able to determine if it’s a Zwift issue or a Wahoo issue. This is why I use my Apple Watch.

  • Needs chat when we are not cycling by direct message

    I’ve had this app for a couple of days and I absolutely love it, but there is one problem can we please add in a message chat also when we’re not zwifting like where are we can have a direct message option on we click someone that you can chat with them without having to being in a club or zwifting in a same server otherwise everything is good just needs some chat fixes

    For the last few months connectivity using the companion app has been really poor. I can’t reliably connect my Zwift ride / wahoo trainer, and Apple Watch for heart rate monitor at the same time. When it worked reliably, this was easily the best indoor set up I’ve had… But now it seems there are better options with a more stable platform

    Map does not load but structured workout does? Coming back to indoor training after Summer riding and new updates aren’t working. I’ve updated and unplugged and reinstalled and validated all on the same WiFi frequency and still nothing… not pairing properly with Apple TV – please fix!!

  • App not connecting to Zwift during event rides

    It’s hit or miss with this app. With updates it’s worse. Can’t connect with Zwift during event rides.

  • Kinda works

    For a while no problems. But the last 5 months or so lacks of function with the main swift app. I have deleted and reinstalled, deleted the cache and reinstalled . Both phone and Mac are on the same WiFi. Still no map no controls to rider or chat. I’ve gone through the threads and found a 50/50 of interaction and people who have gotten it working again after it stopped. It’s odd . So it’s really a 2 1/2 stars. Fingers crossed things get worked out soon.

    Not built for iPad, doesn’t always connect, settings are hidden and buried in weird places. Please move these features over to the Zwift app (which is fantastic for the few features if has) and at minimum this app should be rebuilt for iPad as many riders use a tablet as their display. I’m a loyal Zwift user, hardware, software etc, but please please fix this app; it feels like an after thought.
