Folder Preview provides a Quick Look extension to preview contents in Finder. Before started, you will have to enable Quick Look extension in System Settings. Then you can press spacebar or ⌘ + Y to quick look folders in Finder. You can also right-click the column header to show or hide columns. ## Supported file extensions of archives - zip - tar - gz - 7z - rar

    I tried this out hoping to be able to preview the files in a zip folder without unzipping the whole folder. The Folder Preview window just spins like it’s loading but never loads.

    A great app that just keeps getting better! This simple little tool makes your day-to-day workflow on MacOS 1000 times better. One of those silly little things that should be standard on the Mac, but, it’s not. And therefore I am thankful for Folder Preview. Great work, and a must have.

    Does what it says, even in ForkLift, a Finder replacement. It would be nice if one could select a file within the preview and click to open it but it's stable and useful.
