App was great, but has stopped remembering weight used on exercises as well as settings, which is a major pain. Additionally, it tends to favor the same exercises over and over and requires manually swapping them out. Also, rest time between warmup exercises should be a different setting (including a no rest option) than rest between block exercises

Really enjoying this app! Love the pre-planned programs (more Andy Speer please!!). The ability to type in the weight amount is a great upgrade. A few other things to consider: 1) the ability to review all weight selections from a prior workout for a particular movement (including any prep or lighter sets, and any progression) during the workout; 2) for the app to be clearer about reps per side versus total reps; and 3) if using dumbbells, clarifying if weight entered is supposed to be total weight or per dumbbell.

Pretty good, love the random workout generator. I have a few points of feedback that would increase my rating to a five out of five. Number one, I think there’s ab okay variety of machines but I would love to see more. I can’t speak for everyone but since I have peloton strength and bike equipment at home, when I go to the gym, I’m pretty much there for the machines. That includes leg and glute dominant leg machines like hip abductor, belt squats, v squat, hack squats, etc. but it also includes compound machines like a Smith machine and the fact that there’s no Smith machine option really disappointed me. I was in the gym and I was trying to figure out how I could make my entire workout machine and I just knew this app would save me and it did not unfortunately. It seems like most of the machines that are listed our machines that can handle multiple exercises which is definitely good in a gym but I would love to see some more powerlifting equipment and the smith machine added. Secondly I really like the custom muscle group selection but because of the limited machines, if you only select glutes and hamstrings for example, it gives you a bunch of workouts you could’ve just done at home… maybe even in front of your peloton guide. If i can do the entire workout with dumbbells and body weight then I personally don’t want to be the gym lol. Thirdly, think the programs could be more robust for sure, especially for peloton but I get that it’s a new app. Specifically I was looking for a program that emphasized legs and glutes, especially glutes lol. I would also love a plank progression program as I think the push-up program is an amazing idea and that’s very accessible for someone like me that is able to move their body but is still building up their strength and skills. We can even get creative with the equipment and bring in TRX. And personally I think there’s too many body weight workouts. I look forward to seeing the programs grow overtime but until then it’s four stars for me.

Has you track your weights but forgets them between programs and even between weeks! Stupid. Also, there are programs but you get no indication which one is right for you or how to stack them.

I didn’t know what to expect with this new app but once I started the workout and I noticed they talked you through it I was sold. Super user friendly. Cant wait for my next workout!

Update 5/15/2025: need to add an exercise to the app for Machine Overhead Press and/or Machine Shoulder Press Original Review: I really like the Strength+ app and see a lot of potential for it to become my go-to replacement for all my fitness apps. However, there are a few areas where improvements are needed to meet my workout needs fully. First, the exercise library is impressive and extensive at first glance. I appreciate the variety it offers and the ability to track movements with the Body Activity Tracker. However, I’ve encountered some limitations when trying to build my personal workouts. For example, I have a 3-Day Split workout that I cycle through three or four times a year. This program involves supersets and specific circuits that the app currently doesn’t accommodate. The primary issue is the lack of flexibility in customizing “circuits” and “sets.” My Day 1 workout includes 10 circuits of 10 sets with 10 reps each for certain exercises. Unfortunately, the app doesn’t allow me to set up my workout structure as needed. Here’s an example of my Day 1 routine: 10 Circuits •Squats: 10 Sets x 10 Reps •Leg Curl: 10 Sets x 10 Reps 3 Circuits •Leg Extension: 3 Sets x 12 Reps •Romanian Deadlift: 3 Sets x 12 Reps Calf Raises •10 Sets x 10 Reps If the app could provide more control over these parameters, it would allow me to fully integrate my workout plans into the platform. Until then, I’ll need to stick with JeFit for certain routines. However, I’m excited to see how the app evolves and hope that future updates will address these customization limitations. With these improvements, I’d be able to move all my fitness activity into the Peloton Community seamlessly.

I truly love this new app. I’ve had pretty good success, generating, and building my own workout. But I’m finding it’s not saving my changes even though I’m saving it after I make changes. I also would really love an option to add rest or take them away before the workout starts. It’s frustrating to spend so much time building your own workout and then you go to do it and it’s not what you saved. This has happened to me numerous times sadly.

I was really excited to try this app, but it just really is lacking so far. At first, I was having major buffering issues because I had to AirPlay since there is no app available on Apple TV - lame. The workout would progress, but the actual demonstration of each exercise wouldn’t play. Once that got sorted out, I realized an explanation of how the app works would’ve been nice, especially with what it meant to press complete with each movement (essentially skipping through). My biggest gripe though is that I am post-op and was really looking forward to filtering certain exercises. However, there is no filter for “standing only” exercises. Each time I had a generated workout, it would automatically insert supine position exercises which I can’t do at the moment. When I would select to “swap” the exercise, it would suggest something totally random and not at all comparable. For example, I’d choose to swap a stretch exercise and it would provide me with an alphabetical directory of every exercise available, when all I want is to replace a stretch exercise. I’m excited for when this app gets new improvements, but so far I’m really not loving it. Also, some of the segments are awkward. Wayyyy too long and/or weird amounts of repetitions
  • Good workout app with one major bug

This app has great potential. I can let it generate a specific type of workout then substitute exercises where desired easily. You can also enter the weights you want for each exercise and save it, but… it doesn’t actually save the weights. I have to remember them myself.
  • Great app! Except workout times

This is the weight training app I’ve always dreamed of! Especially the customization of workouts. Only drawbacks - the custom randomized workouts get repetitive and the estimate time each workout takes is way off based on the recommended rest times. This is really annoying, just be honest about it.
