    This is an okay app for people who don’t want to think about what exercises to do. However, you’d expect better from Peloton at $10/mo. I’d suggest trying the Ladder app instead - way better classes / routines and value.

    After spending some time, getting to know the app and getting it to do what I want, worked really well. I’m impressed. Peloton! I don’t write reviews often, but this was exactly what I needed.

    This app is pretty good to use, and makes some killer workouts. However it constantly deletes my previous data and resets the exercise so I have no idea the previous reps or weight used. The watch app can also be gimmicky and have issues connecting. Fix the memory so I don’t have to use two apps to track my workouts

    I really thought this would replace another app. I have relating to fitness training. Perhaps I don’t know how to use it but the space between workouts is super quick and I have no time to enter the the way I was using. I had hoped the app would learn from the weights I was using perhaps letting me know what weight to use next time. Had to stop using the app about halfway through my first workout.

    Just so far behind other applications in this category. Want to reorder lifts while in your workout, nope. Want to see what your weights are for the next lift while in your break, 6 taps there and back. Want to change the contents in your saved day without actually starting the lift, nope.
  • Great app with some room for improvements

    First off, I love that I can create very specific workouts that utilize all the equipment I own in my home gym. It’s great for that. I’ve used the app every single day since March of this year. That said, there are a lot of basic exercises that are missing from the app, shoulder shrugs for example, it would be nice if there was an option to add a custom exercise or at least have the option to suggest specific exercises they need to add in future updates. Another thing that the app developers need to address is the connection issues with the Apple Watch. I’m on the latest version of iOS and watchOS yet I run into connection issues approximately twice a week. I have to power my phone and my watch on and off to correct the issue, which is very annoying, and adds about 5 minutes of time that I don’t have. The app does not track calories burned unless my watch is connected, so having it connected is essentially mandatory or the workout won’t count towards my daily calorie goals.

    I really enjoy this app and use it for most of strength training sessions. It’s nice not to have program my own workouts, the timing function is great for me as i often forget how long I’ve resented between sets. My only complaint is the Apple Watch doesn’t always sync and I’m forced to use the apple application to monitor my heart rate and calories burned. But overall I’m very satisfied. Update- the app could use a bit of updating machine and exercise choices. The routines are becoming stale.
  • Programs never save progress

    After completing any class after the first in a program the progress is never saved to the program. So the app always thinks the next class is the second regardless of how many have been completed. The user profile does reflect the completed class but not the containing program. This has been happening for months and months.
