This game has wonderful graphics, great challenges and is fun to play. I have played other Disney app games before, but have never felt as frustrated as I am with Disney Solitaire. My frustrations are: 1. Even though you win a level, you still have to “pay” to play the next level. 2. The “cost” of playing a level continually keeps going up as you go through the levels. Why? 3. As you complete many levels, it seems almost impossible to pass the level with normal play. The Wild Card and the +5 cards seem to be the only way to pass the levels recently. I have fun playing, but refuse to spend money to do so.

This game is designed to make you spend money. Built like a slot machine with big flashy “you win” sounds and graphics, costs thousands of imaginary coins but when you win you only net a couple hundred. Don’t expect to win often though, you’ll play the same level endlessly, stuck with a single card at the end to bait you into buying upgrades.

6/14 edit: turns out tokens are supposed to be awarded for duplicate cards and this has never been an option for me. I’ve made in app purchases to increase the chances of completing the card collections too. The game is not working properly, the RNG has only gotten worse, rewards earned are not being granted (I did not collect the mirror rewards before the time ran out and lost them ALL.) and the whole vibe seems to be use it or lose it. I got a notification that my first review was replied too, but even that seems to be impossible to find. I want to keep playing this game, but there is nothing keeping me interested. Review #1: Super fun game, but if the developers want people to spend more time within the app, then they gotta loosen up a little. You spend more coins than you can earn, especially if you don’t want to pay for more coins. The RNG definitely catches on after a few wins and forces you to lose. Most days, I have enough coins to play one game before losing and closing the app until much later. Building the scenes is fun, but the only way to get a star is to beat the level… repeat 12 times to build one thing. There are many other games that allow me to spend hours in the app (without making a single in-game purchase) before I am forced to close it. I wish this game was one of those apps!!

Update: Have decided to delete this game. It was fun, but after a few days, a game with little skill and mostly chance became nearly impossible to win. So never had enough coins needed to play more than a game or two. Money grab, that burns through in a big hurry should you decide to pay for energy. Gone in minutes. So throwing your cash away in my opinion. Fun game, but run out of coins for playing pretty quickly, so pretty much have to spend $$$ for coins that will rapidly deplete, or go on, collect every hour and wait a couple days to play.
  • Hardly win

The system picks the cards for you and you hardly ever have the cards you need to even win. So if you wanna play it often, it forces you to pay for extra stuff. I have a lot of other games that are like this that I have never had to spend a dime on to play. The set up and all the extras, I love this one, but out of 10 games that you play. You probably only win one.

I have never seen a game work so hard to get you to spend money. I could collect every hour all day long and lose it playing one round. This could be on of my favorite games if they would let you play.
