  • Great game, terrible management

    Back when Seth and Hamumu ran the show and the game actually had soul. We built worlds, made friends, had fun. Great community. Then Ubisoft came in. Slowly but surely, it became all about money. “Limited-time offers” that stay forever, overpriced items, events that feel lazy, and a community flooded with bots, scammers, and zero moderation. The servers? Trash. The updates? Mid at best. The vibe? Gone. I kept playing out of nostalgia, hoping it would turn around. It never did. If you’re new here, just know: you missed the golden age. If you’re an OG, you already know this game died a long time ago. Ubisoft didn’t just change Growtopia, they killed it. The game earned the stars, the management earned the downfall.

    Was a long time player, I started playing when in the beginning of high school I was 14 years old and now I’m 25 years old and this game will never be the same. Ever since Ubisoft took over this game has gone way downhill.

    The ownership of this game is an no brainer. Game getting worst and worst after it is being sold. You can't even log in now. No matter it is computer or phone. It will kept saying check you internet and make sure your not using VPN, very stupid.

    This game is so horrible now that if you write a review a response is automated by a bot (most likely) they do not care at all!! Same responses handed out, i wish they’d shut the game down instead of teasing the 2010 crowd of this current game states monstrosity.

    Not even worth downloading, mobile serves dont work anymore. Ubisoft is cutting funding to the game and will eventually shut it down all together, it went from a hearty fun indie game to a pay to win sellout for a multimillion dollar company. its a real shame.
