  • Embarrassing

The engineers in Madison should be ashamed of themselves for producing an entirely useless app given the share of the market that epic has. Judy, you are a billionaire and very impressive, and epic has been great for healthcare around the world. Now please produce a useful iPad app. Thank you

Has a lot of potential, very limited in scope. Even something as simple as being able to color code the patients on the main screen, that I could do myself, To show if patient was already seen, if something needs to be followed up on, etc..
  • So much potential.

It’s 2024. We should be able to use an app when using Epic (an app that actually is useful). I really wish the Epic people listened to feedback and would work on this.
  • Lost features in last update?

Noticed that some activity slot options have lost the ability to modify anything within them. In particular, the “Status Board” activity defaults to the one set at the desktop - and ONLY the one at the desktop. Previously, you were able to switch Status Boards.
  • Great app on rounds/clinic

I use this app on a daily basis, for 10 hours a day as a physician. I especially LOVE the Jot feature with my Apple Pencil and iPad mini. Please refine the Jot feature more to allow selection of different eraser sizes. Otherwise, fantastic app!

Still waiting for an update to make this app functional. Another Epic failure.
  • Now, even more useless

Somehow the developers managed to take an app with limited utility and make it even worse. I used to be able to view imaging results and to sort encounters and imaging studies through a homunculus-type interface. Neither of those things exist now. I’d hoped that they’d improve upon that and to also allow seamless transitions back and forth between desktop and tablet. However, it still will not allow the user to edit a note that was opened by a desktop.
  • Constantly nags for alerts

This app works ok for what it is supposed to do. Has some frustrating limitations but overall does help with mobile access to the EHR. It does however nag you to turn on alerts and it does this 100% of the time you log into the app…EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. I do not want my iPad to ding with alerts—I don’t want them and won’t turn them on. Please turn off this thoughtless nag; its infuriating.

iPad is too old for ios15 and can’t download most recent version of Canto which is needed to log in to my organization
  • Joke

What a joke of an app. This should essentially be a fully functional way to access EPIC from a mobile device for charting, but it is not. I can’t even attest previously resident notes in an efficient fashion because the standard attestation dot phrases do not work.
