As a news source, wsj stands alone. Now quit jerking me 3 screens down in the app so you can pester me with ads. It’s truly obnoxious and way beneath wsj. Your app is now literally worse than browsing Drudge! Thanks!
  • Still clunky, despite all the revisions.

Now, when I close the app while reading an article, when I reopen the app, it takes me to the front page rather than the location where I left off. Definitely a step backwards.
  • No longer a trusted news source

I have been a subscriber for nearly 40 years. I chose the Journal as my national newspaper of choice in the mid-1980s after reading several papers over a period of time. I concluded the Journal had the most thorough and unbiased reporting. I no longer feel that I can trust the Journal’s reporting. It appears to me that on issues of national importance, the partisanship and, frankly, intellectual dishonesty of the editorial pages have begun to appear in the actual reporting. I’ve always consumed news from multiple sources but believed I could trust the Journal’s reporting for a fair understanding of the “whole story.” That trust is broken.
  • Great articles, intuitive app, seems to overhear my device

Good reads. UI is intuitive and I can navigate easily. For some reason this app is a resource hog and my phone will overheat with use. I’ve got an iPhone 10. My phone is fine and I’m not going to upgrade for the WSJ. Just build a more efficient app.
  • Refresh problem

In the past week or so, the app has become unusable. As you scroll the feed, it refreshes or does something that causes the feed to move back to the top or somewhere. It’s very frustrating and also just not practically useful anymore. If it remains this way, it’s useless and I’ll just delete it.
  • Continual crash on iPad Pro

I use an iPad Pro model NPA52LL/A running iPad OS VERSION 17.7.6, the most recent version for this model. Since the latest update, the app is unusable — every attempt to read an article results in the app crashing and disappearing. I am a very disappointed long time user.
  • Love the Journal, hate the App

I’m quitting the app and using the web version. Content refresh interrupts your browsing. Scrolling through headlines, the app will suddenly refresh the content, placing you back at the top of the “column”. Infuriating. I get that news happens constantly and that you want to provide the latest. Can’t you just let me get to the bottom of the headline list before refreshing?
  • Good app, but one complaint

Solid app from WSJ, but there’s a pretty major feature missing — there is no way to view comments or to comment on articles! Crazy that such an important feature would be missing in 2025.
  • Worst app ever - still

Articles stop loading and I have to reboot the iPad to fix. No other app has this issue.
