My day begins with reading “local neighborhood news”, then reading the WSJ to educate me on “Global News”. I find the WSJ to be among the nearest to what I consider “politically neutral”, which is what I look for. (although I may disagree with some opinion pieces.) It’s a nice feeling to believe you have a fair clue as to what’s going on in the world, when you finish it each morning. (Once you’ve eliminate some of “the fluff” you’ve just read, you’re ready to start the day.

One annoying bug I wish they’d fix: on my iPhone 16 pro, when I open the US or World sidebar column from A1 I can’t scroll down right away. I have to flick, flick, flick, flick and then it engages almost like it’s background loading or not aware that there is anything to scroll for the first several attempts.

I love the epaper layout that lets you focus on the paper and keeps articles in the page order intended. Too many publications put opinion columns or shift the most viewed articles up front and these often get confused as “the news.” A quality news source in a reliable format are more important than ever. I would like to see a sepia mode for ease of reading. Thanks!

The Journal is my “go-to” for staying informed. I feel the coverage and editorials are fair and balanced which is hard to find these days. In addition, the syntax is world-class which I appreciate in these days of clumsy and lazy grammar. Keep up the good work.

1 the apps setting is supposed to allow me to store up to 10 issues @ a time, but as many times as I try it still only saves 7 even though the setting says 10. Additionally it would be nice if there was a way for me to easily open articles in PDF form if I wish to annotate them with my stylus.
