  • Not what it used to be

I’ve had this app on my phone for many years and loved it. I went to play it recently and found it complete different. Constant ads, a subscription requirement to access virtually any settings. Can’t even adjust difficulty. They also force you to sign a privacy policy, which is new. Anyway, I deleted the app and will find another.

Sometimes the app randomly scans my phone and i don’t like that. Otherwise it’s a great app to play.

Used to be great. Must've been purchased by another company recently because it's garbage now.

Nonstop bombardment of ads. I get this is a free app, but it’s obsessive. You can’t even change your settings without getting an ad. Would recommend a different minesweeper app.

There’s a billion pop ups just trying to get started with playing when first downloaded

Added ads again after my one-time purchase for ad-free. Delays and issues when clicking on tiles now. They clearly updated this app to make it less user-friendly just for the money.
  • Ruined a good game

The latest update introduced intrusive long, tedious ads after each game and an unwieldy interface that makes playing a chore instead of a pleasure. Deleting after many years of near daily use.
  • Good but stole my money

It’s always nice to play minesweeper to kill time, so much so that I bought the pro version when it was a one time purchase so i could avoid adds. Now, they’ve made it into a yearly subscription and decided to take my features away. Not the coolest thing. They also collect a lot of data from and probably sell it so keep that in mind. Honestly just find a different app without adds.

I bought this game years ago with the expectation of no ads, but the ads came later. They now expect $9.99 for the ad-free experience. Do not trust this app.

This game is ruined by the update with ads. Not only that, they are asking for a yearly payment to get rid of the ads. For such a basic game, a subscription is ridiculous.
