Wow, just wow. In under five minutes, this app managed to cram in more ads than a 24-hour cable news marathon. Honestly, I didn’t know it was possible to be this aggressive with monetization. Bravo. It’s clear the developers had a vision — not for a great app, but for an ad-delivery system disguised as one. Who needs usability when every tap can be a new revenue opportunity? What’s truly impressive is the commitment to ignoring user feedback. Tons of reviews point out the same issues, and yet… nothing changes. Either the dev team is powered by bots or they’re filing complaints directly into the digital trash. So here’s a thought: is the short-term ad cash really worth flushing long-term user trust down the drain? Or is that just a “future you” problem? Free tip for developers: Respecting your users might actually keep them around long enough to see your next ad. Just a thought.

  • Doesn’t work, *and* the ads are absolutely insane

First off, the ads. Wow. The developer keeps replying to reviews saying “the ads are there because you’re on the free plan; upgrade to the premium plan to get rid of them.” My brother in Christ the “free plan” doesn’t even allow you to connect Notion. I literally cannot experiment with your app and see if it does what it says it does, without signing up for a payment plan. Second, if I *do* sign up to try it out, it proceeds to inform me there’s a three(!)-day “free trial” that automatically proceeds to charge me $30/mo (THREE TIMES what Notion itself costs me), for your single add-on feature of “integrates with calendar.” Seriously, that’s an absurd reach. Third, having gone through all that, and the no-less-than SIX ADS I had to wait through to just get to this point … your app can’t even detect any databases, after I follow the instructions (that are clearly copy-pasted from a Notion blogger, by the way.) (Yes, I created and authorized the key correctly. I’m also a developer; I checked my token locally against the API.) I can deal with bugs, that’s a fact of life; but if you need to 1. charge three times the price of the upstream service, *and* 2. shove this absolutely insane torrent of ads down the throat of somebody when they’re trying to figure out if your app even works … jesus, yo.

Can’t integrate a notion on the free version - $9 per week for Pro. I couldn’t do anything other than see my task list and create new ones. Templates and Views tab would never open. You’d have a better experience just adding the tasks from within the notion app. Really bummed this didn’t turn out as a cool as it looked
  • $9 a week!

The developer has multiple subscription offers listed for the app but only allows you too choose a weekly subscription in the app. Features advertised, like Reminders integration are not available even with the premium subscription. Responses from the developer are incredibly generic. They are looking to improve the app and are only in it for quick cash grabs before people realize things aren’t working right. Even as I described above the subscriptions offered in app try to trap you in a weekly payment that costs significantly more than the monthly and yearly options that they hide.

You can create custom databases, kanban boards, calendars, and to-do lists tailored to your workflow. Notion combines note-taking, task management, and documentation in one place, reducing the need for multiple apps.
