  • Excellent, but lacks interval repetition methodology.

An excellent app that helps me study words every day. It's very useful for me. The import feature from Google Sheets is also very convenient. I bought a lifetime subscription. Things that are missing: 1) Implementation of a scientific approach to repetition. The app should automatically create repetition tasks using a specific interval method, every other day, every week, every month, and so on. That is, the principle used in Anki. This would be a must-have! I really hope this feature will be implemented. 2) It would be nice to be able to choose between American and British pronunciation. 3) The introduction of AI, so that when you enter a translation, it doesn't always have to be word for word, letter for letter, sign for sign. Or the wrong declension, and so on. So that the AI understands that, overall, you answered correctly, even if you missed a comma, for example, or changed the gender or time, etc. Thanks to the developers, I hope you will implement this in future versions.

I absolutely love this app and it's taught me so much. I hope a future update will bring more languages, personally I'd love to see Urdu, Punjabi and Albanian because those are spoken in my city otherwise I really love this app

  • GREAT for semi-fluent refresher!

This is THE BEST APP I’ve found for 1) refreshing on your formerly studied languages, and 2) learning a new language in the traditional, flashcard based method of learning. It has four levels, from basic to “proficient,” which is great for relearning languages studied for a long time. It has smartly tailored thematic word sets that you can visit whenever you like (and you can binge-refresh sets of 50 words, or go smaller per vocab batches). And, importantly, you can SKIP exercises if you already know the words!!! SO much better than Babbel or Duo Lingo if you already know the language you’re studying! Also, the home screen notifications with daily words show both the target language and your native language, so you can learn without even opening the app of busy days.

I signed up for a 2 week free trial and they charged me 64.34 after 3 days and wouldn’t refund me.
  • Would put 0 stars if possible

NOT FREE. Free to download the app and answer questions regarding what language you want to learn and then tries to make you pay for subscription for $13 a week. OUTRAGEOUS. Next time make the app cost money and do not put mandatory subscription so people are aware before they download. Waste of time. Back to Duolingo I go.
  • No choice but to start a free trial of a subscription

There is no way out of the screen where it makes you choose a plan and start a free trial. There is no X or cancel. There is only options for a subscription plan, a button to continue and start a free trial, and a button to redeem a purchase. I did not confirm for the free trial because I wanted to use the free version, but since there was no other option, I simply quit the app and uninstalled it. I won’t be using it again until the issue is fixed, and I really hope they do fix it. I’ll just be using other ways to learn languages. This app seemed pretty promising until this.
  • Rip off

This app is a rip off. It forces you into a free trial for the pro version without ever showing you how the app works. If you don’t select a subscription, you cannot go forward. I deleted it.
  • Nothing good

There is no app here, just a 3 day “free trial.” Sounded interesting, but… Delete.
